Tour was great, our driver made it even better

We chose the Warner Brothers Harry Potter tour with private transport from London. We chose this tour for the flexibility in timing. We had only a short stay in London and wanted to get back to the city and enjoy the other sites. Our chaffuer was outstanding. Communicated before arrival, Promplty dropped us off at the entrcne gate, told us where to go to get our tickets and where he would be to pick us up. It was flawless, He was exactly where he said he would be at the proper time and met us half way from the entrance. He shuttles us back into the city a few hours ahead of the planned timing and we enjoyed more of what London offers. The actual tour itself was very fun and far better than we expected. Overall an outstanding day and optimized our time well.

The studios are incredible, but DO NOT take the tour with Golden Tours The studios are amazing, but DO NOT book this tour

The studios are worth it, but I DO NOT recommend taking the tour with Golden Tours My experience with Golden Tours to visit the Warner Bros. Studio Tour London – The Making of Harry Potter has been quite negative. The studios themselves seem like a practically mandatory visit for any Harry Potter fan, but I do not recommend doing it through Golden Tours. From the beginning, the organization leaves a lot to be desired. In the emails, they insist that you have to be at the pickup point about 15-20 minutes early, which is understandable when it comes to a scheduled service. The problem is that, if you don't know London, locating the bus can become a real problem. They tell you it could be at different stands—for example, 1, 8, or 12—which are also completely far apart from each other. There are no clear enough directions to know exactly where you have to go. The bus ride is normal, although the seats seemed quite uncomfortable to me. Also, you have to keep asking where to get the headphones to be able to use the content on the screens. And here comes another disappointment: although the screens allow you to select different languages, the movie they show, Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone, was only available in English and with English subtitles. To top it off, the image quality was terrible, far below what is currently expected, and in our case, the movie even stopped and didn't play again. The trip, furthermore, feels quite tedious. The bus goes through London until it reaches the studios, when it feels like there could be a much more direct way to make the trip. And the worst part is that the trip has practically nothing thematic about it. The bus simply has a Harry Potter vinyl wrap that, honestly, seemed quite tacky to me compared to other buses that you can see at the studios themselves, with much more striking decorations. Also, don't expect an especially thematic experience from the staff. The people accompanying the trip are dressed in completely normal clothes and during the journey they do not offer explanations or interesting information about London or about the locations related to Harry Potter. Considering that you are traveling through the city, they could take advantage of the journey to tell curiosities, filming locations, or references to the saga and make the trip part of the experience. However, that is not the case. The main problem: the time inside the studios This is where I consider that Golden Tours especially fails. The ticket indicates seven hours, but you have to understand that those seven hours include both the round-trip travel and the time inside the studios. In reality, you have approximately three and a half or four hours to visit Warner Bros. Studio Tour. And, in my opinion, it is completely insufficient. The first 35-40 minutes are practically spent between the initial rooms and the screenings. Afterward you have to go through the entire studio, stop to see the sets, read information, enjoy the scenes, take photographs, and see the different experiences and performances. In addition, the shop is huge and, if you want to look around calmly and buy a souvenir, you can easily lose half an hour or more. If you want to eat, you still have to subtract more time. In three hours or three and a half hours you cannot enjoy the studios calmly. You have to go practically running from one place to another if you want to try to see everything, and even then you end up missing an important part of the experience. If you want to take photographs, read the information, enjoy the recreations, see the performances, and simply stop to contemplate the sets, you have to be constantly watching the clock. And that seems especially frustrating to me on a visit that costs so much money. In my case I paid around 165 dollars (about 155 euros, approximately) for the tour. For that price I expected to be able to enjoy the experience without having the constant feeling of running. What surprises me the most is that we are talking about an official tour related to Warner. I am not saying they have to leave you inside the studios for ten hours, but five or six hours would seem much more reasonable to me to be able to really enjoy everything they offer. Furthermore, the operation is quite rigid: if you are not on the bus at the indicated time for the return, you lose the return transportation and have to fend for yourself, despite having paid a considerable amount for a service that is sold as a complete experience. I even had a situation that seemed quite worrying to me: I stayed inside the bus until practically the last moment and the staff did not even realize that I was still inside. Every time someone got off, there was no clear check that no one was left in the vehicle. It seems to me a quite significant lack of attention on the part of the staff. Customer service Unfortunately, I cannot highlight the treatment received from Golden Tours positively either. Both over the phone and during the experience, my impression was quite bad. What bothers me the most is that it seems that Golden Tours knows perfectly well how much time you really have inside the studios and even so maintains that it is enough to see everything. For someone who does not know how this type of tour works, it is very easy to buy it thinking that you will have seven hours to enjoy Warner Bros., when in reality a significant part of that time is consumed by travel. My recommendation The Warner Bros. Studio Tour London I do recommend 100%. Golden Tours, no. If you go to London and want to visit the Harry Potter studios, my recommendation would be to look for an alternative to get there directly on your own. It will probably be more economical and, above all, you will have much more freedom to enjoy the visit without constantly watching the clock. The studios are spectacular and, if you are a Harry Potter fan, they are really very much worth it. But the experience with Golden Tours seems excessively expensive to me for the actual time they allow you to enjoy there and for the quality of the service received. For me, it is a lack of consideration toward the fans of the saga and toward any visitor who pays a significant amount expecting to be able to enjoy the studios with peace of mind. In short: Warner Bros. Studio Tour London, yes. Golden Tours, no. If you can go on your own, do it. You will have more time, more freedom, and probably a much more pleasant experience. ⭐ The studios are worth visiting, but I absolutely do NOT recommend going with Golden Tours My experience with Golden Tours for the Warner Bros. Studio Tour London – The Making of Harry Potter was quite disappointing. The studios themselves are absolutely worth visiting and, for any Harry Potter fan, I would consider them a must-see. However, I would strongly recommend avoiding Golden Tours and finding another way to get there. From the very beginning, the organization leaves a lot to be desired. The emails repeatedly insist that you must arrive at the meeting point 15-20 minutes early, which is understandable for a scheduled service. However, if you do not know London well, finding the correct bus can be unnecessarily difficult. You are told that the bus may be at different stands — for example, stand 1, 8 or 12 — which can be completely opposite from one another. There are not enough clear directions to help you find exactly where you are supposed to go. The bus journey itself is nothing special, and I found the seats quite uncomfortable. You also have to keep asking where you can get headphones to use the entertainment system. And this is another major disappointment: although the screens allow you to select different languages, the film being shown, Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone, was only available in English with English subtitles. To make matters worse, the image quality was extremely poor, far below what you would expect nowadays, and during our journey the film stopped playing and never resumed. The journey itself is also unnecessarily long and tiring. The bus goes through London on its way to the studios, when it feels like the journey could be made much more direct. Even worse, there is almost nothing magical or Harry Potter-themed about the journey. The bus simply has a Harry Potter vinyl wrap which, honestly, looked rather cheap compared with other buses you can see at the studios, which have much more impressive and attractive designs. Do not expect much of a themed experience from the staff either. The people accompanying the journey are simply wearing normal clothes, and they do not provide any interesting information about London or Harry Potter filming locations along the way. Considering that you are travelling through London, they could easily make the journey part of the experience by pointing out filming locations, interesting facts or references to the Harry Potter films. Unfortunately, none of that happens. The biggest problem: the lack of time at the studios This is where I feel Golden Tours fails the most. The ticket states seven hours, but those seven hours include the journey to and from the studios as well as the actual visit. In reality, you only have approximately three and a half to four hours inside the Warner Bros. Studio Tour. In my opinion, that is nowhere near enough time. The first 35-40 minutes are largely taken up by the initial rooms and screenings. After that, you have the entire studio to explore, including sets, information, props, photographs, experiences and performances. The shop is also huge, and if you want to browse properly and buy a souvenir, you can easily spend 30 minutes or more there. If you want to eat, you have even less time available. With only three to three and a half hours, you simply cannot enjoy the studios at a relaxed pace. You have to move from one area to another extremely quickly if you want to see as much as possible, and even then you will inevitably miss a significant part of the experience. If you want to take photographs, read the information, enjoy the sets, watch the performances and simply stop to appreciate everything around you, you constantly have to keep an eye on the clock. That is incredibly frustrating, especially considering how expensive the tour is. I personally paid around $165 (approximately €155) for this tour. The studios themselves are fantastic and, if you are a Harry Potter fan, they are absolutely worth visiting. However, my experience with Golden Tours was far too expensive for the amount of time you actually get at the studios and for the quality of service provided. In my opinion, this is a huge disservice to Harry Potter fans and to anyone spending a significant amount of money expecting to enjoy the studios properly. In short: Warner Bros. Studio Tour London — absolutely yes. Golden Tours — absolutely not. If you can make your own way there, do it. You will have more time, more freedom and, most likely, a much better experience.

Harry Potter

Great experience . The admission fee is included with transport. We were there 4 hours. Great atmosphere. It was my son's 33rd birthday and he has a learning disability. Thry let him open the doors and he received 2 special birthday badges and an envelope addressed to Harry Potter. Highly recommended.

100% recommended! Would do this so again.

For the Harry Potter studios we booked this with private transfer. The driver picked us up at the hotel at the appointed time. The tour itself was great but also the pick up at the agreed hour back to the hotel. All this gave our experience an extra dimension. No hassle with groups and different pickup points. Straight from hotel to studios and back. We recommend this to everyone.

Trip to warner brothers

It was good the instructions was clear to understand the only thing was when we had to get back, it wasn’t exactly on time that they gave us and also they should’ve informed us that there was a buffer time because i didn’t get to buy from the gift shop because i had to run to the bus and then it wasn’t there yet

Operator response

Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. We are pleased to hear that you enjoyed your visit to Warner Bros. Studio Tour and found the instructions clear and easy to understand. We appreciate your comments regarding the return time and understand that guests want to make the most of their time at the studios, including visiting the gift shop. We would like to clarify that we ask guests to return to the meeting point 15 minutes before the scheduled bus departure time to allow for a smooth boarding process. This also helps ensure that the bus can depart on time, as it is unable to wait for late passengers. We appreciate your suggestion regarding clearer communication of this buffer time and will take your feedback into consideration as we continue to improve the experience for our guests. Thank you again for sharing your thoughts, and we hope to welcome you on another tour soon!

Amazing experience, absolutley worth it

The Harry Potter Studio was on my long waiting bucket list and it was amazing! It is expensive, but it was absolutely worth it, especially the flexible return option. I spend about 6 hours in the studios and more would easily be possible. There are a lot of guides and their service is perfect, also if you havr special conditions or need assistance. I will come again and can defintely recommend it to all Harry Potter Fans!

Convenient but freezing

The service is definitely valid; we left from Victoria station and didn't have to think about anything anymore. On the bus, almost all the seats have an interactive screen with games, videos, and the possibility of watching a movie. Plus a USB port that always comes in handy. The only problem is that at 8 in the morning the air conditioning was really too cold, cold enough to need a sweatshirt in July! It is also very cold inside the Warner studios, cover up!

Operator response

Thank you for sharing your experience! We're pleased to hear you found the service convenient and enjoyed the onboard entertainment and USB charging facilities. We appreciate your feedback regarding the air conditioning and will take it into consideration to help improve our guests' comfort. We hope you had a wonderful visit to the Warner Bros. Studios and look forward to welcoming you again soon!

Poor service

You can never get in touch with a human agent for prior instructions. At the Victoria terminal, the tour staff was friendly and guided you, but at Warner Bros there was only one guy who spent the whole time looking at his cell phone, barely wanted to answer questions, and when the bus arrived, even though there was a line, he let others go first who cut in line and HAD NOT PAID FOR THE PREMIER TICKET or whatever they call it, for those who reserve the first seats on the bus. I wanted to complain on the website but they stop answering you

Operator response

Thank you for sharing your feedback. We are sorry to hear about your experience and apologise for any frustration caused. We appreciate your comments regarding communication and the boarding process, and we will share this feedback with the relevant teams for review. We are pleased to hear that the team at Victoria Station were helpful, and we will continue working to ensure our guests receive the best possible service throughout their journey. Thank you again for bringing this to our attention.

Worth to visit!

Harry Potter Warner Bros. Studio Tour was awesome! Better than we expected! Totally worth of money! You need about 4 hours for your visit plus travelling there. We took Golden Tours bus from Victoria Station. The buss was easy to find and staff was polite. Everything went well with them. Studio Tour staff was very nice for children. We ate lunch there too and that was good! Atmosphere was magical!
