Great tour with lots of interesting stories and a very nice guide with a sense of humor.
We attended the Harry Potter Walking Tour today, and unfortunately, it was a major disappointment. To start, the pre-tour email stated that our guide would be holding a magic wand at the meeting point so we could easily find him, but he didn't have one. Our guide was Michael, who had a rather strange style. While the very beginning of the tour was decent, the pace became incredibly fast right from the start. There were elderly people in our group, and forcing everyone to rush through the city in 30+ degree weather was exhausting and unreasonable. The ticket is quite expensive for what you actually get. You would expect at least a physical map or printed copies of the location/scene photos they show you. Instead, the constant rushing never stopped. We practically ran through the city, only to receive very basic information about the Harry Potter universe. The tour covers about 10,000 steps and lasts around 2 to 2.5 hours. Normally, this wouldn’t be an issue, but it became ridiculous when we could only see Michael in the far distance between stops. He was moving at such a frantic pace that before the final stop, we simply refused to follow him any further. It is honestly mind-boggling that we paid money for this. I cannot recommend it to anyone because it makes no sense in this format. Showing fewer locations wouldn't be ideal either, but this current pace makes it completely unenjoyable. If I had to summarize the experience in one sentence: it was 20% Harry Potter and 80% rushing and pointlessness. Don't waste your money on this tour; you are much better off looking up the filming locations online and doing a self-guided walk at your own pace.
Brilliant tour, Rory was so knowledgeable and made it really interesting and fun. Loved how it came to life with the pictures from the film. He was thoughtful and ensured safety of whole party at all times. Would recommend to all Harry Potter lovers

Super cool guide and super friendly
The tour was well organized. It was enjoyable despite a heat wave because the tour kept to the shade and the guide ensured folks remained hydrated. Everyone appreciated comparing the movie scenes with the buildings included in the shots, and the guide had many other tidbits of information to offer about the filming as well as local history. Definitely recommend this tour.
