I have chosen to get off the beaten tracks and the mainstream routes. Instead, I prefer to explore hidden places, out of the ordinary, try new flavours and be bold. Each discovery gives me an excuse to gather my friends, depart into new adventures, and share my latest findings. Now, it is time to share with you what, as a local, I consider to be unmissable while visiting my hometown. Bring a positive attitude, good vibes and plenty of space for new memories!

The day starts at 11:00 am at our meeting point in Cascais. From there, we follow through emblematic Guincho Road and go up the hill to our first stop for brunch, shall I say "the brunch". The place seems to have been taken from the book of Cervantes, and you'll see what I mean when you get there.
One of the most tourist spots in the area, Cabo da Roca, the most western point in Europe. "Here, where the land ends and the ocean begins"
When the clock hits 1:00 pm, we will head towards our next stop, an area of outstanding beauty. With a breathtaking view extending as far as the eyes can see, the picturesque village of Azenhas do Mar owes its name to its water mills. The suggestion is to contemplate the views, focus on good energy vibes and re-energise until we set off to the next stop. Then the next chapter unfolds.
We will have a sneak peek of the vineyards that grow on sand-rich soil, an original kind of viticulture with unusual and ancestral cultural techniques.
The next and last stop, at 15:00h, will take us to Adega of Colares. Here, a guided tour will last approximately 1 hour. You will listen to stories, find interesting facts about the cellar and its wines, and enjoy a wine tasting paired with light snacks. It will amaze you how unique their features are.
A place with a variety of attractions where you can go for a walk, shop, have lunch, dinner or simply relax reading or enjoying the company of your friends. Inside the Palacete you will find one of the countless variety of shops, almost all of which have a view of the sea or the garden

Book this tour! The spots Mafalda showed were incredible, places we wouldn’t have taken the time to find on our own. She is super kind, knowledgeable and an excellent driver. The brunch place was fantastic and the lady in the tasting room was so sincerely sweet.

I visited Cascais with my sister, and it was a wonderful experience. Cascais is a must visit spot if you enjoy the beach and nature. Mafalda took us to several hidden gems and treasured spots that we never would have found on our own. It truly felt like traveling with a friend.
This was a wonderful tour of several beautiful areas around Sintra. I loved the Don Quixote windmill restaurant. It had a delicious menu and a great view of the ocean. The wine tasting was also fun. We learned about some special farming techniques for the wine as well as great conversation with the wine maker. Mafalda was a great guide and knows where all the good spots are along the coast. I would highly recommend!
This was a suburb trip to Sintra! When meeting Mafalda it’s like connecting with a long lost friend! She is so personable, knowledgeable about the area, accommodating and the brunch choice was wonderful! Highly recommend this day trip with Mafalda! So enjoyable!
Perfect number of stops and sites to see to get a taste of Portugal. Our guide was knowledgeable and got us expertly from place to place even getting around a huge traffic jam. The winery stop to end the tour was a highlight. Highly recommend 😎
