Half Day Private Muscat City Tour With Omani guide

Our three day stopover in Muscat became a memorable event with Hisham providing comprehensive informative tours. The city tour visited many of the amazing sites in Muscat and left us with a greater understanding of the city and its history. The tour with Hisham left us wanting more, so overnight he compiled a bespoke tour that took us into the rural areas to experience the Omani ‘way of life’. That evening we participated in a ‘food tour’ where we tasted traditional Omani food at various occasions. This was an amazing experience. On each occasion Hisham was punctual and a pleasure to be with. We were overcome with the friendliness of the Omani people who welcomed us into their lives. We absolutely recommend Hisham and Omani Tours as a perfect way to see Oman.

Today we visited the old part of Muscat with our wonderful guide Hisham, who generously shared his knowledge about the city where he was born. We booked the tour as a private one, and it was truly worth the money. He took us through all the major landmarks, and we felt very comfortable throughout the tour. Before the tour started, we received clear instructions, and he picked us up right in front of our hotel and later returned us there as well. From the Grand Mosque, beautiful panoramic views of the city, the local market and harbor, to the Opera House with its luxury shopping center and a lovely café — everything was perfectly organized. Al was a top bloke who drove us around Muscat and even shouted myself and the missus some local tea and bread. Really worthwhile and I’d recommend it as your first thing when you arrive to get the lay of the land

We had a wonderful city tour of Muscat with Hisham. He was very friendly and attentive from the beginning. We were two adults and a two-year-old boy – Hisham even brought a child seat, which immediately made us feel good. The tour was perfectly organized: We visited the impressive mosque, the opera, a traditional souq and tasted Omani bread as well as delicious sweets. Hisham explained a lot about the history and culture of the country and patiently answered all our questions. Thanks to him, we were able to get to know Muscat in a relaxed and personal way. We can absolutely recommend Hisham and would do a tour with him again anytime!
