You will spend a whole day captivated by the extraordinary beauty of the places of greatest interest in eastern Sicily, with a tour to discover Taormina, Castelmola, Isola Bella and Messina, where you can admire and photograph wonderful panoramic Mediterranean landscapes... During the tour you can taste typical Sicilian products. The service will be carried out on board new and comfortable Mercedes vehicles that will be expertly driven by drivers carefully selected for their competence, image and charisma. We also allow flexibility of schedules and the opportunity to modify the organization of the tour according to any preferences or needs of the passengers. This will make the service ideal for cruise passengers.
It is the most grandiose monument that characterizes Taormina. It is the second largest classical theater in Sicily (the first is the one in Syracuse). Currently, the Greco-Roman Theater hosts major cultural events that attract a huge audience. Precisely for this reason, the ancient Theater has become the symbol of Taormina in the world.
The Piazza IX Aprile in Taormina is one of the most scenic and airy. Immediately on the left stands the wonderful facade of the church of San Giuseppe, at the top of a double staircase. On the right side the square allows us to range over a wide panoramic spectacle. The square is brightened by some cafes that allow you to sit at the outdoor tables and enjoy the architectural landscape.
Palazzo Corvaja is one of the most elegant aristocratic palaces of the Sicilian Middle Ages. The beautiful main portal of the palace is characterized by a very low arch. It is one of the most beautiful sixteenth-century portals that adorn the aristocratic palaces of Taormina. Inside this palace is housed the Museum of Art and Popular Traditions.
Located along the coast of Taormina, Isola Bella has become, together with the Greek-Roman Theater, the symbol of Taormina. Picturesque and evocative, the islet still maintains its beauty and charm unchanged today.
Returning to Messina, you will visit one of the most particular and spectacular places of the city, the Sanctuary of Christ the King, with the beautiful view from the terrace overlooking the Strait of Messina, where you can take beautiful photos. At the end, direction Messina Cathedral, where you can admire the largest astronomical and astrological clock in the world.

Pickup Locations & Times
The tour guide and driver will wait for passengers at the meeting point, inside the port area in front of exit gate 5, showing a sheet with the full name of the main traveller written on it. From there you will leave with your vehicle to reach the first destination of the established itinerary, Taormina, which is about 40 minutes from the cruise port of Messina and 20 minutes from the cruise port of Giardini Naxos via Schisò. IMPORTANT NOTE: YOUR DRIVER WILL ENSURE THAT THE DURATION OF YOUR TOUR ALLOWS YOU TO RETURN TO THE SHIP IN PERFECT TIME FOR BOARDING.

We got a wonderfull tour with a nice guide (gazel) and good driver. Good balance between facts &figures and free time to explore.. the guide gave lots of tips what and where to taste the specialities.. Only thing i didn't like was the adaptation of the start of the tour the night before. I just saw by accident the change last minute.. For the rest we had a wonderfull day!

Awesome day trip to from cruise port Taormina Castelmola and isolabella. Unbelievable views and beaches. Our driver Giovanni (sp?) recommended a beautiful restaurant / beach club. Singing and dancing 💃 🤩 GREAT food and swimming in crystal water at the front. Shopping and Ancient Greek theatre in Taormina town also great. isola Bella busy but like a postcard. Private driver costs obviously, but worth it to fit in so much in the day.

The best tour of all, the attention and Service were amazing, we went to beautiful places with views towards the island and the whole sea.Daniel was our driver and we had a great time, spoke good Spanish, explained everything we asked and the attention was perfect. We passed through Taormina where we bought some things, then went to Castelmola which has a viewpoint at the top of the mountain. Then we went to a church inside a cave which was beautiful, and then we went to lunch at a restaurant that Daniele did not recommend, it was very delicious the food and the amazing view in the whole sea.Lastly we went to Messina Cathedral and ended up on the cruise. It was amazing the experience, at a fair and affordable price, definitely an experience we would do again.

This tour allowed us to see the best of the area without any stress. Our guide Daniele was friendly and gave us lots of useful tips about Taormina, which is wonderful. Then pure relaxation at Isola Bella, a magical place for swimming and sunbathing. We were a group and felt super comfortable the whole time. A 5-star experience for those traveling with friends!

Bruno was an excellent guide. Very friendly and knowledgeable. The van was perfect with two facing back seats filled with waters. He took us all around Taormina and castleoma. He brought us to a pizza lunch per our request right on the beach. He allowed us all the time we wanted and stopped for many pictures. When he realized we had extra time he took us to a beautiful church to finish off the perfect day! This was it favorite day of our 10 day cruise.
