Itinerary
We meet our clients at Parque de Pelota Los Naranjos in Fajardo. Here, you can park for free and wait comfortably for our guide in the parking lot. It is very important to arrive 15 minutes early to ensure you don't miss the opportunity to join the activity. Once the guide arrives, they will meet you in the parking lot so you can follow them in your vehicle to El Yunque.
Upon arrival, our certified tour guide will lead you through this amazing secret spot of "El Yunque". In this area you will explore through the mud trails and lush green of the rainforest. The hike will take approximately 1.5 miles in total and will take approximately twenty minutes to reach the first bathing area and another fifteen minutes hiking on rocks to get to the water slide. We’ll spend around 2 hours to 2 hours and 30 minutes inside the rainforest where we’ll be swimming, swinging from the rope like Tarzan, sliding down a natural waterslide, cooling off under the waterfall and jumping from different cliffs.

- Travelers should have at least a moderate level of physical fitness
- IMPORTANT: Our activity is designed for people between 10 and 60 years old with excellent physical condition. You have to be able to walk by your own in uneven surfaces. For safety reasons, people who are overweight, have previous injuries, are pregnant, or have health problems are not allowed to participate. Evidence of age via license or birth certificate will be required to ensure compliance with these requirements. Furthermore, no exceptions or refunds will be made to those who fail to comply with these conditions.
- You need to have your owned/rented vehicle in order to participate in this tour as transportation is not provided.
- Participants must be physically capable of walking thru steep, rocky, muddy and uneven surfaces without assistance.
- This tour operates based weather and river conditions. In the event of poor weather, you will be offered an option to reschedule or refund.
- Use of lifejacket and helmet is mandatory.
- If you are arriving by taxi or Uber, please ensure that the driver waits for you until the activity is finished, as you will not be able to request a taxi or Uber from the activity location because they do not go there.
- On Saturdays the hike is longer and more challenging since we depart from a different point.
- Our company reserves the right of admission - If a person appears to be under the influence of alcohol or drugs, not following instructions, causing disruptions, or providing false information, such as lying about their age, the guide has the right to cancel their reservation at any moment. In such cases, no refunds will be issued. We prioritize the safety and enjoyment of all participants and expect honesty in all aspects of the booking process.
- Persons with the previously listed health restrictions cannot participate on the tour. No refunds will be authorized if a person neglects to read complete description and does not meet the safety requirements and limitations on the day of the tour.
- Personal Belongings Policy for the Rainforest Excursion: At our Rainforest Excursion, the safety and experience of our guests are our top priorities. Due to the nature of the activity—which involves hiking, water contact, and constant movement in a natural environment—we strongly recommend that participants do not bring any personal belongings unless absolutely necessary. While we do allow the use of prescription glasses for those who need them for vision, all other personal items should be left in a secure location before the excursion.
- Liability Waiver: Our company is NOT responsible for the loss, damage, or misplacement of any personal belongings during the excursion. We understand that the nature of the tour involves activities that may increase the risk of losing items, such as walking on uneven terrain, swimming in the river, sliding on rocks, and jumping into the water. If a participant chooses to bring personal items, they do so at their own risk. We will not be able to stop the excursion to search for lost items in the forest or river. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation in ensuring that everyone enjoys a worry-free experience.

We had Adrian as our guide and he was great! He very knowledgeable of the environment and clearly knew what he was doing. He brought us on a bunch of cool little trails and climbs that were all worth it. 10/10

From launching yourself off cliffs to flying through the rainforest on rope swings and racing down natural water slides, every minute was unforgettable. The scenery alone is breathtaking, but what truly made the experience exceptional was our guide, Arnel. Arnel was the perfect guide for an adrenaline-filled day. He struck the ideal balance between keeping everyone safe and making sure we had the time of our lives. Before every jump, slide, and swing, he clearly explained what to do, gave us the confidence we needed, and never made anyone feel pressured. His knowledge of El Yunque, the rainforest’s history, wildlife, and hidden gems added another level to the experience that you simply wouldn’t get exploring on your own. What really stood out was Arnel’s energy. He was incredibly friendly, encouraging, and genuinely excited to see everyone having fun. It never felt like he was just doing a job—it felt like he was taking a group of friends on an unforgettable expedition through the jungle. His enthusiasm was contagious, and by the end of the tour everyone was smiling, laughing, and sharing stories. If you get the chance to book this tour, ask for Arnel. Arnel was our tour guide and he was amazing. He was super friendly and very nice. He made the tour so fun. He also gave us a history lesson about El Yunque which it is amazing. Being surrounded by so much nature was beautiful. You felt so much peace. This tour is a must if you're visiting beautiful Puerto Rico.

We had an absolute blast on this El Yunque adventure! The waterslide, rope swing, and swimming spots were beautiful and made for an unforgettable day in the rainforest. Unfortunately, my partner lost her sunglasses during the excursion, but that didn't stop us from having a great time. Our guide went above and beyond and even took us on what he called the "Jumanji Special" hike, which made the experience feel even more adventurous and unique. It felt like we got to see parts of El Yunque that most visitors probably miss. The guide was knowledgeable, fun, patient, and made sure everyone felt safe while still having an amazing time. The scenery was incredible, the hike was exciting, and the memories we made were worth every minute. If you're looking for a fun, active adventure in Puerto Rico, we highly recommend this tour. Had a great time, tour guide was very personable and a cool dude to hang with. Made it fun. Place we hung out at in the river was beautiful, and had a great time on the rope swing and cliff jumps. Very nice people. Try it out

Our tour guide Arnel was super friendly showed us everything and overall a great vibe. We were there for around 2 hours and at the end Arnel gave us snacks and water. Definitely worth it!
