Description

Upon departing Marina Puerto Del Rey, our guests enjoy the beautiful views of the Cordillera Islands, and the mountains of El Yunque fade into the distance. After about 90 minutes on our power catamaran, we arrive at the beach where the fun begins. Our usual beach destination is Culebrita Beach, but our captain might choose another nearby location like Flamenco beach, depending on water conditions for the day. We spend the day at the beach, paddleboarding, kayaking, sunbathing, or participating in fun games and challenges. Guests should bring towels, and wear light clothing over a swimsuit. Children under the age of 6 years and pregnant women are NOT allowed on this tour. *All games and watersport activities depend on conditions at the beach. *This is NOT a snorkeling tour.

Itinerary

240 min

Our first option is to visit and spend a fun day at a beautiful beach in Culebrita island. Culebra Island has plenty of options and we will visit the beach with the best condition depending on the day. Flamenco beach is one the possible beaches we could spend the day at. This is weather depending. As an alternative beach, if we can't continue to Culebra due to rough water conditions, we will stop at a beautiful deserted island with crystal clear waters and white sand that will make you feel in Paradise.

Catamarán Culebra // great but too short

Our group of 7 had a fantastic time on the Culebra catamaran excursion. Our only suggestion is regarding the length of the excursion. While it’s advertised as a 6-hour trip, the boat ride is about 1 hour and 10 minutes each way. Once you arrive, it takes another 20 minutes or so to anchor and go through the safety briefing. That leaves only about 3 hours at the beach—and during that time lunch is also served. We found ourselves having to choose between relaxing at Flamenco Beach or sitting down to eat because the time went by so quickly. Adding just one extra hour to the excursion would make a huge difference and allow guests to fully enjoy both the beach and lunch without feeling rushed. Overall, we had an amazing experience just quite short the time for such a great trip.

One of best experiences we had our whole vacation.

We took our family of 7 2 adults and 5 kids from 18 to 4 years old and everyone had an absolute blast. One of the cleanest boats i have ever been on. Crew on the boat were absolutely fantastic, drinks and food were fresh and perfectly timed during the trip. Nefe and the rest of the crew made sure everyone on the entire trip were happy and comfortable. For the price it’s well worth it, all the drinks you want non alcoholic or with rum, and I’m not sure what all was in the jelly fish drinks but I need the recipe they were delicious. Only complaint is it didn’t last longer.

Best excursion ever!

Don't hesitate to book this excursion! Family of 6 w/4 18+ yr olds. They all thanked me over & over, best day ever. Flamenco beach was beautiful! Crew was amazing & made the experience that much better. We were on the Blue Flamingo, cant remember all crew names but Gabriel & Cassandra, as well as others went above & beyond! Food was great & unlimited drinks did not disappoint! Try the Jelly Fish from the secret menu😉

It's the best way to take...

It's the best way to take a day trip to Culebra with two kids. We departed at 8am and were the first boat to get there. We got to enjoy the side of the beach all to ourselves for more than an hour before the other boats arrived. The crew was amazing - fun and helpful. Food and drinks were good. Highly recommend.

Excellent beach day

Everything was well organized, the crew was super friendly and helpful, particularly Luis who would go up to get drinks and bring them to the beach regularly. Light but abundant lunch, drinks with and without alcohol (on the beach, on the trip only without). We went to Vieques not to Culebra, due to the sea situation. Very beautiful beach, warm and calm water.

The catamaran was nice,...

The catamaran was nice, the service was nice, the food/drinks/snacks were nice, but for the price paid of bassically $400 total for 2 people,I don't think it was worth it at all. We understood the weather risk of the seas being too choppy to head to Culebra, but the beach we ended up going to in Vieques was nothing special AT ALL. We ended up just going to an OK beach that really wasn't beautiful. I just wish the backup beach was great.
