The Cape of Good Hope Nature Reserve experience the highlight of the day. A visit to Cape Town is certainly not complete without a photo behind the Cape of Good Hope name board. Your tour guide will share history about the two Beacons known as the Bartolomeu Dias beacon and the Vasco Da Game beacon.Cape of good is the most South Western Point of the African Continent, with two currents, warm agulhas & cold benguela.
At this point most travellers take the option of a short hike from the Cape of Good Hope to the Cape Point lighthouse. However, should you not feel up to the short hike or medically unfit, the guide will guide you to the Flying Dutchman Funicular in which you will travel up to the Cape Point lighthouse. (Fee excluded from the tour price.) The Cape Point is the official meeting point of the Two Ocean currents; the Cold Benguela and the warm agulhus currents. Cape point is famous for Dutchmen funicular, old lighthouse and best viewing site of Cape Point.
Chapman's Peak Drive is one of the most scenic tour routes in the world. We stop at Chapman's Peak viewpoint where travellers will be "wowed" by the spectacular view of mountain ranges and endless stretches of the ocean as waves break against rocks and white sandy shorelines.Its one of the most rewarded panaromic drive in the Country if not the world. We were arriving by cruise ship and three days before recivced a text canceling the full day tour we had set up because of the Cape Town bicycle race, we set up this half day tour because of departure time and was waiting in front of cruise terminal at 0745 for a 0800 pick up nobody showed up. Call operator and Viator and operator about 0920 operator called and told us driver was late due to traffic and was there now we walked back from the mall 15 min and still nobody there and no answer from operator was fully refunded but waste of the day

The tour never happened. Fifteenth mins before due to start and already on route to the rendezvous point, we get a call saying the driver will be up to an hour and a half late (bear in mind that the whole trip was 4 to 5 hours max). Then we. were told that they got another driver and might arrive within the hour. They didn’t. One and a half hours late a guy arrived in a tiny car. No air con (over 30 degrees outside) and really had no idea of where we were going. Nor did he speak English. All of which is a problem as we paid for a guided tour. Forget getting the promised bottles of water. We cancelled there and then. They did refund quickly however.
A jam packed trip. We had a local guide who showed us around and took us to the various points. I would highly recommend it to anyone who wants to see the highlights but doesnt have much time. We actually had a slight extension to the trip to fit in some more sites. Our guide also gave us a lot of information about the various places we visited.

Roland was exceptional, very knowledgeable and knew water best spots for seeing wildlife. Roland was able to help us see zebra, bamboos, ostrich and penguins - he made the whole tour worthwhile.
