Οur tour will start with a pickup from your hotel , apartment , port or airport and a small briefing from your official guide .The Acropolis of Athens and the Parthenon, both universal symbols of classical spirit and civilization, dominates the center of the modern city offering panoramic views that will be perfect for photos . This is something you don't want to miss and our price includes a skip the line ticket for the acropolis hill. Our licensed guide will guide you through the 5th century BC monuments of Acropolis which is the most accurate reflection of the splendor, power and wealth of ancient Athens at its greatest peak, the "Golden Age of Pericles".
While on the Acropolis hill you will visit the cradle of the classical ages and experience a live comentatory from your official guide. The "Parthenon" dedicated to goddess Athena is a masterpiece of the Classical Ages and dominates the Acropolis complex.
Leaving the Acropolis behind you will have the choice of visiting the "New Acropolis museum" which was built to house every artifact found on the rock and surrounding slopes, starting from the Greek Bronze Age . The entrance fee is not included but we can arange skip the line tickets for you.
The Panoramic tour will start passing by the temple of the "Olympian Zeus" that used to have 104 colossal columns and one of the largest cult statues in the ancient world. "Hadrian's Arch" stands there as well, which is a masterpiece of symmetry. You will hear our official guide telling you everything about the monument and of course the life of the famous Roman emperor Hadrian. Continue on to the Royal Palace of Athens that hosts the Parliament since 1934 and watch the famous changing of the presidential guards and the monument of the Unknown Soldier. The Panathenaic Olympic Stadium will be the first stop of the panoramic tour. You will receive your exact pick-up time via email 48 hours prior to departure. For cruise ship and airport arrivals, our guide will wait for you outside the arrivals terminal, holding a sign with your name on it.

- The vehicle provided for our private tours depends on the size of your group, and all options are from the Mercedes luxury range, featuring brand-new models. This could be a 4-seater sedan, a 6-seater van, or a 15-seater minibus. In some cases, a larger vehicle than your group size may be used—for example, it's quite common to use a 15-seater minibus for groups with fewer than 15 participants

We only had one day in Athens and this double tour was great. We had a historian lead us in the city center, including all of the major sites. . Then we drove south along the coast and it was just wonderful. Excellent communication skills. Very nice tour leaders. It could not have been better.!!
We had a very knowledgeable guide who adapted to our preferences. You have to climb a lot to get to the Acropolis. But it is very manageable, the pace is good, and there are stops for very relevant and interesting explanations, all in the shade. We passed through streets of shops that we had not seen. My son generally does not like guided tours, but he loved this one; he asked several questions to the guide and found it very interesting, as did all of us, by the way. I sincerely recommend this activity,

You need to double check the pricing for this tour. This was a half-day tour for two people and I was charged $1072. When we finished the Athens part, the driver said we were entitled to go south to some sites that would take another four hours and we had no interest in that. I think the charge of $1072 was for Athens plus the trip south which we never signed up for and so I feel grossly overcharged. I'm trying to reach them to discuss a partial refund, but you know how that'll go.

Great tour! We were picked up at the Port of Piraeus after a cruise, with the tour guide waiting with a sign to greet us. We immediately went to see the Acropolis and spent almost two hours there. Our tour guide was very knowledgable and made sure we had lots of breaks in the shade as we climbed the steps and viewed the Parthenon and other buildings. After the Acropolis stop, bottled water was provided back at the van and appreciated after the long walk in the hot weather. We left that area and then stopped for other photo opportunities as we were driven around Athens and then finally dropped off at our hotel.
It is indeed a private tour with tour guide and driver. They will pick you up at an agreed meeting point and drop you back there if you like.
