Don't miss this region of Korea!

Amazing! Our guide Esther was a wonderful host for this full day of activities! A great combination of guided and free time. Long day (11 hours) and 15,000 steps, but plenty of opportunity to rest and recharge with a beverage or snack. Beautiful and historic locations I am so glad we included in our itinerary!

Nice tour, and great tour guide

Charles was our tour guide, and he did an excellent job throughout the entire tour. He kept everything well organized, managed the schedule efficiently, and made sure the group stayed together while sharing interesting information along the way. The itinerary was very well designed and included some amazing places. My only caveat is that we visited during the middle of the Korean summer, when it was extremely hot and humid, and the tour involves quite a bit of walking and hiking. It was physically demanding and a bit exhausting because of the weather, but that’s not the tour’s fault. Overall, it was a fantastic experience, and I would highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting Korea. Just be sure to wear comfortable shoes, stay hydrated, and be prepared for the heat if you’re traveling in the summer!

Recommend, be ready to walk

The area the tour takes you to is gorgeous! I was traveling from Seoul in a one day trip down to this area, so the different pick up options were very helpful. And I decided to take train back from Gyeongju station and the tour was happy to accommodate and even help me find a taxi, although taking a bus to the station worked for me fine. I would recommend coming in spring or autumn, because in July it was super hot in the blazing sun. Otherwise bring a UV umbrella, a fan, and water to survive. There is also a very easy forest walk that is required in order to see one of the Buddha statue that is a national treasure. My tour guide, Charles, was also very helpful and organized. I asked lots of questions and he explained the little things until I was satisfied. Very grateful to his help and tour.

A great tour to feel the history of the Silla dynasty of S SKorea.

I took the tour with my wife, Sylvia. We learned a lot of this tour. I was very interested in the period of history, the Silla and Joseon dynasties and this took me to the places which helped to really visualize the history. Our guide, Bobby Kim was fun and also very knowledgeable. Thank you, Bobby for the great tour.

Had a wonderful tour. Tour director Bobby Kim was very knowledgeable and professional but also a lot of fun

A great overview of Korean history led by a terrific guide. Learned a lot about the Silla and Joseon dynasties. The area was beautiful. It was especially terrific to have the opportunity to take daytime and nighttime photos. We had time on our own also to get snacks and gifts.
