Daereungwon is a royal tomb complex in Gyeongju, home to ancient burial mounds from the Silla dynasty. Among them, Cheonmachong, or "Heavenly Horse Tomb," stands out for its excavated artifacts and murals, offering a rare glimpse into Silla royal life. Strategically placed windows and openings allowed ancient astronomers to observe celestial events, aiding in agricultural and political decisions.
Gyochon Village offers a glimpse into Korea's rich cultural heritage. Home to the Gyeongju Choi Clan, renowned for their 12-generation legacy, the village features the historic House of the Gyeongju Choi Clan, a designated Important Folklore Material. You can explore traditional hanok houses.
Woljeonggyo Bridge is a reconstructed wooden bridge originally built in 760 AD during the Unified Silla period. It was destroyed during the Joseon dynasty and rebuilt between 2008 and 2018, becoming the largest wooden bridge in Korea. The bridge spans 66.15 meters and features traditional Korean architectural elements. It is illuminated at night, creating a picturesque scene, and is a popular spot for photography and leisurely walks.

We had a wonderful day in 경주 today! Our guide, 간지나, picked us up right on time at our hotel in 부산. We had a very pleasant and comfortable ride to the Golden City of the 신라 dynasty where we were guided seamlessly to all of the major highlights of this ancient and beautiful city. Our guide was knowledgeable, engaging, thoughtful, and genuinely delightful. I highly recommend this tour and its guides. You won’t regret it.
The tour was magnificent. Cynthia is a very kind person, and thanks to her, we had the opportunity to experience Korean culture. We are leaving Korea with a piece of it in our hearts
Absolutely perfect day touring Gyeongju with our guide Jino! Jino was super nice and incredibly knowledgeable. Loved hearing all the stories and history of our visits. My daughter loved talking about K-drama and Korean culture with him. She has been studying Korean language and excited to speak some. He was very accommodating. Incredible experience and I will highly recommend.

This was my first time booking a tour through the Trip Advisor site, and it went very smoothly. We decided on the private tour, and it was about 9 hours. BK from Korea Discovery Tour contacted me right away confirming pick up and drop off details and time. Our tour guide, Anthony, spoke excellent English, was very friendly and knowledgeable (sharing a lot of history and facts during the day) as well as a good driver. He had good recommendations for us and showed us the best places to get good pictures throughout the day. It was nice being able to visit several sites without having to worry about logistics.

What a great tour of Gyeongju! Jade, our tour guide, was incredible, very friendly and knowledgable, made us feel at ease and comfortable immediately. The pace of the tour was great, we did not feel rushed (which can happen with other tours), the information was interesting and we felt we learnt a lot about Korea's culture. He also structured our visits to the various sites for maximum comfort given the time of the day and the rising heat of July. It was like taking a tour with a good friend that had expert local knowledge. The car was big and comfortable for the three of us and our suitcases and air conditioned and we got picked up from our hotel door in Busan and dropped off at our next hotel door in Gyeongju. Jade even asked about our music interests and played music we enjoyed on the way. The stops for food and drinks were at very nice places and he even gave us recommendations for the evening about local specialties and pointed out places to go. He really could not have done more for us. I recommend this tour and guide highly to anyone!

We had a private tour so we covered a lot of ground, seeing several wonderful UNESCO sites. BK from Korea Discovery was really on his job, adeptly answering texts immediately to set things up. Our guide Jino was wonderful. He was knowledgeable, pleasant, and a safe driver. Jino was attentive to our needs and noticed how we would like things approached. It was a very hot day and he took pains to keep us comfortable and keep everyone in a good mood. I highly recommend BK and Jino.
