We enjoyed Mike’s other tour so much we booked this one as well. There were 20 of us and we covered many suburbs of Bristol - how the very wealthy merchants used to live. Mike’s knowledge of the history is comprehensive. The Suspension Bridge is deceptively simple in construction - and the history fascinating! Highly recommend. (Good tea/coffee stop on the way 😊)
Great information with so many unique sights. Our guide Mike would lead us to wonderful viewing points you would never find on your own. This tour was everything and more than we expected and Mike was extremely generous with his time! Thank you from 2 Aussies.
The Clifton Suspension Bridge offers breathtaking views that stretch for miles—truly a stunning sight. It’s incredibly picturesque, and I highly recommend visiting the nearby Clifton Observatory. Don’t miss the cave experience there—it leads to an unforgettable viewpoint overlooking the gorge.
Great tour. Mike was extremely knowledgeable and friendly. Even went to the trouble to show us the best places to eat after. Definitely recommended
Many thanks for the kind review. I am so glad you enjoyed it. Kindest Regards Mike
Mike is experienced and kind. I didn't expect I am the only one in the tour, but he's still willing to operate for me. The tailormade therefore pretty much very interactive and cater my ability and interest. Thanks for Mike's suggestion for St Nicholas market visit during that afternoon and I did enjoy a wonderful day in Bristol

Great tour guided by a nice gentleman Mike! He’s knowledgeable and showed us a fantastic part of Bristol where we saw many interesting scenes. My 10-year-old boy really enjoyed it!
Hi, thanks for the kind review. He was a star, i am glad he enjoyed it.
What can I say. You turn up to a guided tour expecting a large group going on the tour but it ends up just being yourself. Must be because it was a Monday! Anyway Mike the tour guide was was really informative and he knew his stuff about Bristol. From the time before Brunel the medieval Bristol to Brunel and the construction of the Clifton suspension bridge. To Banksy all the way to the present with the pulling down of the statue of Edward Colston and Black Lives Matter. Plus much more that hasn’t sunk in yet! Overall this is the perfect introduction to the city of Bristol. Thanks Mike and thanks for the pointers for which pubs to go to in the city.
Hi James, Glad you enjoyed the tour. Many thanks for the kind review. Hope you enjoyed the suggestions. mike
