Exciting tour by a passionate guide-speaker: I highly recommend.
Despite a typical Norman weather, Pépin Lebreton has taken us into his time in this mythical place. A big thank you to him for his visit suitable for adults as well as children, his humor and his kindness. See you in St Malo!
A journey through time, a little-known history of Mont Saint Michel. If you thought you knew everything about the history of the Mont and the abbey, visit with Pepin the Breton, you will learn the underbelly and designs of this historic place. Thank you Pépin (5/4 visit)
Super interesting "Man at Arms" lecturer who transported us to Mont Saint Michel at the time of the 100 Years War and the resistance of the Mont in front of the English. Walking along the ramparts of the Mont, he also explained to us how (and why!) Father Aubert created this place of pilgrimage. It was exciting and young and old loved it! Thank you, sir.
A top visit with a great speaker who gets to interest both adults and young. Exciting and alive, I strongly advise! (Maybe avoid with child under 6 years for whom it may seem long?)
Péppin Le Breton guided us on the Mount for 2 hours , it was the perfect guide, a large period of history is summarized but always very precise with a dynamism that we do not let go. We learned a lot and retained a lot, very interesting and really a great guide, who we feel is passionate. Family with 3 children (7 to 10 years old).
By the grace of Peppin the Breton, we were transported back centuries, to the heart of the fifteenth century, in these troubled times of the Hundred Years’ War. Like a spellbinding ride through history, this adventure made us see Mont-Saint-Michel not as we know it today, but as it once was: an impregnable bastion, fiercely defended by valiant souls. The story, told with verve and knowledge, was like a living manuscript—rich in detail, full of breath and emotion. No weariness took place during these blessed hours; everything flowed like the wind on the ramparts. We pay homage to our guide, storyteller of ancient times, for this unforgettable odyssey in the heart of the ages. Lowly travelers
Superb visit with a passionate and exciting guide who makes you want to immerse yourself in the history books. Thanks to Pépin Le Breton for these stories!
Great visit! Exciting guide, nice, funny and very attentive to its listeners. We will also listen to it in St-Malo.
Great visit that takes us back to the Middle Ages, a very friendly and competent guide, thank you for this good moment of history
