At 6 a.m., our driver picks you up from your Nairobi location. As you drive toward the Great Rift Valley, you'll stop briefly at a breathtaking viewpoint. Around 8:30 a.m., you arrive at Hells Gate National Park. Your local guide greets you warmly and leads the way—choose to walk, drive, or cycle past playful wildlife like zebras and giraffes. If walking or cycling feels like too much, your driver is right there to pick you up. You'll wander into the dramatic gorge too, with a short hike inside if the weather smiles on you. The 16 km cycling loop? Pure freedom on two wheels. After all that wonder, savor a hearty lunch at a cozy spot by Lake Naivasha. Then glide out on a serene boat ride, spotting hippos and birds up close. Feel free to stretch your legs with an easy walk on Crescent Island—it's your call. Bicycling in Hells Gate combined, hiking partly through the canyon, coupled with the avian paradise boat ride on Lake Naivasha made for several hours of exhilaration. I’m still glowing a week later from the physical and sensory pleasure.

Wasili Kenya Sarafis has exceeded my expectations from every aspect. The preparation and organisation up to my first trip with Julius was perfect: clear and smooth communication and punctual. The trip itself - we went to Naivasha (1 day trip) for a beautiful bike ride and hike in Hell's Gate Park. There Julius waited for me while his partner guide Shem - who is an expert in Hell's Gate Park - guided me. The hike was mind-blowing! After that we had lunch and went on a boat on the Naivasha lake. It was another unforgettable day with Julius (and Shem). I can't stop thinking about my multiple trips with Julius and Shem and next time in Kenya I will definitely choose Wasili Kenya Safaris again.
Overall experience really good We had a driver so make sure you hire your bikes from the actual entrance where you pay the you can ride just one way. Bikes are not well kept so try before you take Wildlife on route is great You have to pay for a guide or your driver Once you get to the gorge you need another guide to escort you we just went on the 40 min walk and this was enough after the bike ride Toilets were poor take tissues
It’s really nice and amazing and maybe you are as lucky as we and have the chance to get really close to a giraffe. Our guide Julius was also really nice and friendly.
Choosing Wasili Kenya Safaris was the best decision ever! mind you, I hadn’t ridden a bike in over 30 years and I am totally out of shape but the idea of riding among zebras and other wildlife and beautiful scenery made me muster up my courage. It was the best! Julius, our tour guide, was so patient and encouraging when I wanted to quit. The thing is, he gave the option of whenever I was ready to hop in the van to drive up the rest to the gorge it was hakuna Matata, no worries. But like I said he was very encouraging so every time I wanted to quit he would say, you’re almost there. But enough about me and more about the tour. You will have a great time seeing Pumba, Zazu, zebras, buffaloes, birds and the mountains, blue skies, just AMAZING! Lake Naivasha was equally AMAZING! Hippos and different species of birds and giraffes and… words cannot describe. The tour guide was very knowledgeable about the different animals and geographical information about the lake. All in all I had an amazing time with Julius and was very glad (I literally scrolled and researched for hours) I chose Wasili Kenya Safaris.
We saw so many animals and had such a unique experience doing a safari on bike and boat at lake Naivasha. We also loved doing the gorge climb at hells gate where you got to walk through the winding walls of the gorge, after an 8 km bike ride through the hells gate national park. My father and I had an amazing time as we were well looked after by our guide Julius. He made sure that we got experience the best. He also arranged for our over night accommodation at Simba lodge, which was absolutely stunning and had wild animals roaming around the grounds. The boat trip is wonderful experience as you get to see hippos in the water from your boat and many different species of birds who live around the lake. I would highly recommend this tour :)
