Extremely well done, typically we avoid such things, but this was very well organzied, and the schedule with timing was excellent. Our guide, Chris went above and beyond ensuring we were able to order fresh seafood at the fishmarket without issues. Well done!!!
This excursion was phenomenal. Highly recommend!! Our tour guide Chris met us at the port and took excellent care of us during the entire experience. We had plenty of time to explore the Haedong Yonggungsa Temple — in order to see the 3 different Buddhas (lying, sitting, standing). Chris then managed to get us to the United Nations Cemetery in time for the flag raising. He then showed us around the area of the Fish market, BIFF Square, and the International Market; and we were able to grab some lunch on our own. We ended our experience at the Gamcheon Cultural Village. All in all, a great day!
Thank you sincerely for sharing such a thoughtful recommendation and for trusting LOVE KOREA with your day ashore in Busan. We are delighted that Chris took excellent care of you from the moment he met you at the port, allowing you ample time to discover Haedong Yonggungsa Temple and its three distinctive Buddha figures while also arranging the timing so you could witness the flag raising at the United Nations Cemetery. It sounds as though the lively atmosphere around the fish market, BIFF Square, and the International Market offered a wonderful contrast to the quieter historical and cultural moments of the day, with time to enjoy lunch at your own pace. Ending at the colorful Gamcheon Culture Village must have been a memorable final chapter to such a full excursion. Your generous recommendation means a great deal to Chris and our entire team, and we hope to welcome you back for another meaningful journey in Korea.
We had a wonderful day in Busan, and from the pickup at the port to the punctual return, everything just worked out perfectly. We were completely thrilled! A very special praise goes to our tour guide Joe. He was simply great! Joe speaks excellent English, is incredibly likable, empathetic, and attentive – plus young, dynamic, and always with a good dose of humor. Exactly the mix that makes an excursion not just informative, but a real experience. Joe provided us with numerous interesting pieces of information, valuable tips, and personal recommendations without overloading us with information. At the same time, he always left us enough time to discover the individual places ourselves and let the impressions sink in. His personal manner was especially nice. Right at the beginning, Joe set up a WhatsApp group so that we were reachable at all times and no one could get lost. Via the WhatsApp group, during free time, he would always send the location and time for when we would continue under the heading TIME IS GOLD, sometimes with a photo of the meeting point. After just a few minutes, he knew every participant by name and addressed everyone personally, so that you quickly had the feeling of being out with a good friend and not with a tour guide. A very special experience was our visit to the famous Haedong Yonggungsa Temple, the temple in Busan that is spectacularly situated by the sea. There is a popular wish tradition there: coin tossing. From a bridge, you try to toss a coin into a stone bowl. If you make the shot, your wish is supposed to come true. 🍀 Joe gave each of us three coins, so everyone had three chances for their personal luck. Of course, this quickly turned into a little competition – and the exciting question was: Who will manage to actually toss their wish into the bowl? 😄 Back on the bus, the results were evaluated together with a lot of humor. Joe also took beautiful personal photos for everyone who wanted them – a great memory of our day together. To wrap things up, Joe even surprised us with a personal gift: Each participant received a small collection of beautiful postcards of Busan. Joe personally played a major part in making this day a very special experience for us. His professionalism, warmth, humor, and enthusiasm for Busan were contagious. Dear Joe, thank you so much for an amazing day in Busan! We will fondly remember you and this wonderful day. If we come back to Busan, we would take a trip with you again anytime. A very clear recommendation – 5 stars are actually not enough! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
