Great Salt Lake Wildlife Experience

I was looking for a guided tour that would allow me to experience the beauty of Northern Utah's mountains while staying in Salt Lake City, and this was exactly what I was hoping to find. It was the perfect way to spend a few hours in the evening exploring nature, learning about the area's natural history, and getting up close to some truly beautiful wildlife. The entire experience was thoughtfully planned and well organized. Sarah was outstanding from start to finish. Her communication before the tour was excellent, and throughout the experience she was kind, knowledgeable, and attentive. She made everyone feel safe, comfortable, and genuinely cared for. The vehicle was spacious and comfortable, and it was stocked with thoughtful amenities including water, snacks, binoculars, hats, bug spray, and face nets. Every detail seemed to be considered. The tour concluded with an adventurous sunset hike to a scenic overlook above the Great Salt Lake, providing a memorable ending to an already fantastic experience. If you're visiting the Salt Lake City area and want to experience Utah's natural beauty with a knowledgeable guide, this tour is absolutely worth your time.

Our tour guide Sarah was welcoming from the start and helped our group converse with each other. The entire tour felt like we were with friends instead of random strangers. Sarah was accommodating throughout our time together and it was such a great time. We lucked out with having a breezy hike so bugs were very minimal. I had just one buzzing near me on the descent. Highly recommend this tour!

The evening excursion to Antelope Island was a great way to end our trip to Salt Lake City. Our tour guide was very knowledgeable and personable. The evening sunset was breathtaking with a bonus view of the full strawberry moon. I would highly recommend this tour company and guide, Garth.

Very knowledgeable guide (also quite humorous). We saw several bison, a burrowing owl, and a few antelope. The sunset was amazing!

Garth was a great tour guide. The van ride was comfortable and Garth shared a lot of interesting and fun facts about Salt Lake City past & present. We also were fortunate to see a large herd (or two) of Buffaloes up close. Got some wonderful pictures of the animals and landscape. The sunset view was amazing.

Garth was a great tour guide with good facts and jokes throughout. Really just a peaceful tour getting to be up close and personal with the animals and finish it off with a beautiful sunset. I thoroughly enjoyed myself.

Probably the most magical sunset I've ever seen, as well as other incredible sights plus magical encounters with bison. Very comfy bus ride and wonderful host Garth made it even better. Highly recommend.

Sara was a great guide and gave us lots of time with the animals. The hike at the end and sunset was phenomenal but a caution on the hike: it was a little more rugged and steep than described but there's a good place to stop midway to watch so it's all good. Definitely a fun experience!
