Lamia made our Grand Egyptian Museum visit truly memorable. She was very knowledgeable and made the whole tour interesting from start to finish. Her English was excellent, and she spoke very clearly, which made everything easy to follow. My family and I especially enjoyed how she shared the history of women in Egypt, including the powerful queens, which added something special to the experience. We would definitely recommend her to anyone visiting the museum.
Very informative tour. He really did his best to include us and see what we prefer to do. Highly recommended! A great experience with a great person to guide you.
10/10 review, where do I start? Great organisation, comfortable car from Alexandria to Cairo. There we met our guide Paula Sa Samir who was very knowledgable and patient. He genuinely enjoyed his time showing us around with the occasional detail on the way. We had a great camel ride, meal with view of the pyramids and went to the foot of the pyramids and sphinx themselves. Most special of all, I proposed to my special one at the Pyramids, and he took a great video and photo shoot for us, what a present for us. Please take the tour if you are going to Egypt, you won’t regret it, and thanks again Paula as Samir for your great hospitality!
I had the pleasure of visiting the Grand Egyptian Museum with an outstanding team. The service exceeded my expectations, and everything was perfectly organized from start to finish. A special thanks to our driver, who was both friendly and reassuring. His careful and professional driving made us feel safe and comfortable, especially considering the heavy traffic, where cars seem to overtake and come from every direction. The Grand Egyptian Museum is truly impressive. It offers a fascinating journey through the history of Egypt and helps visitors better understand the evolution of one of the world’s greatest civilizations. Thank you to the entire team for making this such a memorable experience. I highly recommend this tour and this team to anyone planning to visit the Grand Egyptian Museum.
We visited the new Grand Egyptian Museum about a month ago and had a terrific experience. I am very pleased that my visit to Egypt coincided with a time when the museum is now complete and open to the public. It was a real gift to me, and I got a lot of impressions. We spent a few hours at the museum, although the locals told us it might even take a few days to see the details. The museum is very large, modern and incredibly interesting. The museum's main highlight, the Tutankhamun mask, the Egyptian Mona Lisa, is particularly impressive. Seeing her live was a real thrill for me. Unfortunately, we did not have time to visit one of the halls where the reconstructed boat is displayed. I found out about it after the visit, and the locals then said that we had lost a lot without seeing the exhibit. However, even without it, the museum has made a huge impression on us. It's very modern, it's large and it really deserves attention. I believe that if you find yourself in Giza, a visit to the Grand Egyptian Museum is a must - it is one of the most powerful cultural experiences in Egypt.
What to say? A total success of a museum. Remarkable architecture both outside and inside. A remarkable presentation with very clear and well-done explanations. Everything on display is beautiful, interesting, and unique. Of course, the rooms dedicated to Tutankhamun are splendid. Reservation on the site is mandatory, there is space, there is a restaurant, and pretty shops with nice gifts to buy. Preferably, it is better to arrive very early in the morning (opening at 8:30) and take an Uber from downtown because it is far. On the way back, we also took an Uber; do not let yourself be approached by the hordes of taxis that try to grab your attention. A must-do. One of the most beautiful museums currently.
This was a very interesting tour. Our local guide Walid was very knowledgeable and professional. He explained everything in very detail and we learned a lot about Alexandria. Our driver was very responsible. We really enjoyed the tour.
This museum is very large. be prepared to walk a lot and be overwhelmed. King Tuts exhibit will amaze you.. Try to do half and have lunch at the resturants and then do the 2nd half. You need a guide to explain the items on display. Bathrooms were the best I've seen anywhere in the world!!!!
This was a well organised and insightful guided tour to the El Alamein battlefield. Our guide, Mahmood, was knowledgeable, not just about the Second World War, but the entire range of Egyptian history. Highly recommended as part of a visit to Alexandria.
