Incredible Experience

Absolutely incredible experience we have had. Seeing the canyon from the air provided breathtaking views, and the helicopter descent followed by the boat ride offered unique prospective from below. Everything was well organized and skywalk added extra thrill. Truly once in a lifetime experience.

I thoroughly enjoyed my tour. The plane and helicopter ride was amazing i got to see amazing scenery of West Canyon very well. The pilot was very friendly. Also our bus driver who brought us back from our tour to our hotel Capri was a very and nice and friendly person. I would highly recommend people to take this tour.

Nice trip, terrible travel

Grand Canyon was great. Experience was mostly great. But logistics were a bit of a nightmare. I booked our Viator tickets for "Start time: 07:29, Meeting point: Caesars Palace", where we were staying. See photos of my confirmation ticket. I reached out the night before to the tour company to ask what exactly we're looking for at 7:29am, and they said they do pickup from Caesars, and that we'd have to meet at a different hotel at 5:55am. We then had to cancel our plans the night before to get up at 5am to go to the actual pickup place. At the end of the tour, the tour company messed up the passengers list so our flight couldn't take off for half an hour until they sorted it. And then the last shuttle that took us back to our hotel was cancelled, so we waited a literal hour for the next bus.

Fantastic day out you won’t disappoint

The whole thing was very smooth and straight forward. Crews are very lovely and helpful even when you made some mistakes. The plane ride was nice and the hello as well. The rafting part also fun but A bit steep at the rafting pier but the crew are helpful and caring. Thank you very much.

Grand Canyon Bucket List

Wonderful from pick up to drop off. A bucket list experience capturing the best aerial views from the plane adventure over the Grand Canyon, diving to the bottom in the helicopter and riding the Colorado river, walking the Skywalk, this tour packs it all in.

a disappointing cost of $500 entry

We drove the 2.5 hr drive from Vegas to the West Rim where we had to park our car to gain admittance to the Park. We paid close on $100 US each x 5 people which gave us access to the Skywalk. We then got on a bus which took us direct to the skywalk, now there had been nothing saying we couldn't use Cameras there etc etc .. we had to put everything accept our phone and wallet or purse (obviously they want you to spend money there) into a locker and entered the building where we went thru a door where a photographer took photos. One of our party took some photos of the Canyon from the first platform with his phone and was yelled at by the photographer saying you are not allowed to take photos here. In reply we said there isn't any signs to say that and he replied if you take another photo I will kick you out. He obviously didn't like anyone speaking back to him and it was really the manner in which he addressed us that upset everyone. He took 3 photos of our group where he took several with other groups we observed, The photo package was reasonable $30 but on principal we decided to not take up the option. Part of the ticket sale gave us a $10 voucher off merchandise and a $10 voucher of a meal. We waited until the 2nd stop to think of buying a meal only to find there was no enclosed area for us to eat the meal which was Roast Beef or Chicken with mash potatoes and the asking price was $27.00 ( In reality the meal would have been pushed to be $17 so the food voucher was a sham. The other concern was to eat it we would have had to sit under a cover where the wind was blowing a gale and the temperature was around 62 farenheit which was really cold despite wearing jumpers and coats. The views of the grandcanyou were amazing but the facilities there left a sour taste for us.

Grand canyon is great, administration and staff not so

This is a challenging review to write, on one hand the Grand Canyon is amazing. The airplane was smooth and I had every confidence in the pilot and the shuttles around the canyon were quick and convenient and the canyon experience was great. However, the reason why I have scored it 3 and not a 5 is purely from my experience on the ground with the staff, the poor attitudes and customer service from the staff checking us in and how it put a significant dampener on our day. When we got out to boulder city airport we were informed that the backpacks we brought with us would not be allowed on the plane and we would have to leave them all behind and either carry our belongings or go to the gift shop to buy a suitable bag. They said we should have been advised of this when we contacted them to confirm however we obviously weren't informed as we turned up with backpacks. We checked the website prior to leaving and it said that backpacks couldn't be taken on the sky walk but they could be stored in the lockers there. No where does it say you can't even take them on the plane. So we ended up buying an over priced bag from the gift shop so we could take our things with us (ironically the bag we bought more or less the size as the backpack). We also aren't aware that we would be provided with a lunch whilst we were there (I note it is now written on the website but it wasn't on there when we booked and not on our confirmation) so we ended up wasting the food we brought with us as it couldn't be stored at an appropriate temperature to save for the next day. Further more, the tour is advertised as a 7hr door to door excursion, however for us it was 10hours. We almost missed our show in the evening due to this. This delay is because we had to wait over an hour after our plane landed to get transport back to vegas. Again this is something that isn't advertised, neither was this explained to us at the airport that the wait would be that long and it just made a long day, even longer. Moving forward, pappillon / grand canyon scenic airlines should really improve their customer service, set customer expectations earlier and also advertise that there would be a delay for over an hour to go back to the city as we waited for multiple other tours to return. This really did spoil what otherwise was a great day

Wow! Amazing Experience!

The the experience was amazing! I preferred to drive to the airport saved time parking at a hotel and waiting on the puck up. The sires you can see from the plane were amazing. You would miss if you drove to the Canyon and save a lot of time getting there. The helicopter was wonderful. The boat ride short but enough time to see the Canyon from a different perspective. I recommend bringing water as its not offered in between stops. The lunch options were plenty and the food was great. Both sites we tour by bus at the Canyon were great. Only regret was I wish there was another hour to be at the two park sites. I would definitely do it again.

Grand Canyon day trip

Amazing trip to the Grand Canyon by plane. So quick and gave us plenty of time to explore everything we wanted to see. Smooth ride out and back, fantastic views of the area as you fly over. Definitely recommend it to anyone who wants to visit without having to drive or be on a bus for four hours.
