Giza Pyramids, Sphinx, Sakkara, Memphis with Camel Riding

I highly recommend Omar as a guide to anyone who wants to discover Cairo and its wonders with competence, sympathy and authentic passion! Absolutely perfect choice! We wouldn't have appreciated and lived a tenth of the experience without your support. We started our tour with the new Egyptian Museum. Often a visit to a museum becomes just a scroll through the rooms without understanding the meaning of what you see. Omar was indispensable to fully enjoy the visit. He explained the history of ancient Egypt in all its aspects and showed us the most interesting pieces. Our tour continued with a visit to the pyramids, the Cario... a city not easy to tour alone without a guide. We did the private tour with Omar and his driver Amad, what about? Just fantastic! 😎 We were picked up punctually at the hotel and visited Saqqara, Menphis and Giza. In the evening they then took us downtown to the market in Cairo and accompanied us to the airport driving in the very chaotic Egyptian traffic. Without them our experience would not have been the same, attentive to all our needs, very kind and patient. We have learned so much about Egyptian history and modern Egyptian history. The highlight of our two days with Omar was his masterful and expert guidance through all aspects and sites in Cairo and Giza. Omar's knowledge of the history of the places he took us is matched only by his complete mastery of the layout of said sites. This doctoral-level knowledge of history and logistics made for an experience like none other and one I firmly believe possible from no other guide in Cairo/Giza. However, Omar's professionalism doesn't end there. He also arranged for a camel ride! He personally picked us up at our hotel and personally dropped us back off off each day when our day of sightseeing was complete. He helped us find specific restaurants, arrsnged for transportation across the city as needed, and checked on the success of each activity he'd set up for us if said activity was not directly under his control and supervision. In short, Omar anticipated our every need and met them all masterfully. He looked after myself and my family as if we were his own relatives. This tour and this guide have been recommended by a friend. Planning a tour to Giza with Amr was the best thing I could do! I liked so much the way the guide explained us everything, with passion and fun. After visiting the pyramids and the sfinge in Giza, including a camel tour, he brought me to visit the “Step Pyramid” and the tombs with hieroglyphs which was impressive; after we went to the museum of the old city in Memphis. So we had a delicious lunch in a restaurant with beef and chicken meat. I could recommend Amr as a guide to everyone wants to live a wonderful experience in Cairo.

Amazing solo tour in a 15 hour layover. The minute I was picked up by my tour guide Amir, he was gracious and accommodating. He asked me which site I would like to see first, Giza pyramids was the obvious answer. I was surprised that the Pyramids were on the close outskirts of Cairo. I always imagined it was deep in the desert. When I laid my eyes on the first pyramid up close, I was blown away. How did Man build this? There were several tourists including a soccer team from Turkey climbing the Pyramids. Huge blockades of Stones. Amir helped take several pics and videos of me. I rode a camel which was fun. I went over to view the Sphinx which is obviously breathtaking. I realized that I needed more time, as I needed to see the other two sites. After viewing the pyramids we had lunch from a local cafe. Mostly falafel sandwiches which were delicious. Next stop was Memphis. Memphis which is a indoor and outdoor museum with monuments and statues was great to see. Sakarra which has older pyramids and was less crowded was a joy. We arrived an hour before it closed. I went into one of the Pyramids-tombs to view the hieroglyphics, the only Pyramids to my knowledge, where you can take pictures and videos inside. (You can’t take pics inside Giza Pyramids and the lines and wait time are way too long.) I still had some hours left, after the last site. Amir the guide, mentioned a evening cruise ride on the Nile River. Belly dancing, drinks, plenty of food for a reasonable price. It was pleasurable experience. Plenty of tourists and foreigners. Overall experience was amazing. I felt at ease with my tour guide and driver. We exchanged plenty of stories of culture, people and the human spirit in general. I recommend there service. Best way to see the sites without having to go on a big tour bus with 50 other people.

I was very pleased by the experience of Pretty Egypt Tours for visiting the pyramids of Giza, Memphis & Sakkara. I was offered lunch and drinks, accompanied by the air-conditioned minivan inside. I enclose some pictures of the experience made.

We booked with pretty egypt tours a day tour to giza saqqara and memphis. We found a good professional guide with a good transportation so that we booked a second day tour to the egyptian museum, salidin citadel and market. Highly raccomended to book with them.

What a lovely time. Cairo was magnificent. It would not have been the same without our lovely tour guide. Very helpful, kind and knowledgeable. He is the best in the business and I would highly recommend this. We loved every moment!
