Our guide Tarek were very helpful and is a very good and friendly guide. However there were some issue which I think they need to look into it. Not long after the tour of Pyramid, we were introduced to Camel ride and were charged ridiculous amount for 1 hr ride. $65 usd per person. And to top that off, the camel operator is a bloody hustler, after asking for $65 usd he has the audacity to peek into my wallet and ask for more tip, and all these happened before the camel tour even start. And to make thing's worse, the second person in charge of your camel ride ask for tips before the ride and outright demand for $40 usd. Under such circumstances, i didn't really enjoy the camel ride as much knowing I am being surrounded by vultures. The rest of the trip to Saqqara and Memphis were fine. I have no complaint and give high rating to the guide. But I felt the guide should have bail us out from the camel ride trap. In total, I paid usd 65 x 2 for 2 person. And the hustler forcefully took some other currency from me and the second guy took usd 25 from me and make a fuss about it why I did not give him $40.
