Our guide, Stephen, had an infectious joy that permeated our entire tour. He educated, entertained and captured this fantastic experience for us. I highly recommend this tour and Stephen. Exceeded my expectations.
John was an exceptional guide. Informative, kind and very pleasant. And the visits to the Sheldrick Trust, giraffe sanctuary and the bead making were superb.
Wonderful day tour. Joe was an absolute delight. We got the best viewing spots at both sanctuaries because he got us there early. Bead factory wonderful particularly as its a women's social enterprise. 5 stars .
Super day out visiting the giraffe center & the elephant orphanage & Kobe Tough beads factory. Our tour guide John was amazing, super friendly and full of knowledge ! I couldn't recommend more ! Thank you again
What a day! John was great fun 🙌 taught me some swahili and took care of all the logistics. His commitment to getting some excellent photographs (and even tiktok videos) was impressive! The Giraffe centre was pretty cool to be so close and feed the giraffes (and get to meet their very distinct personalities). Sheldrick Elephant Orphanage is somewhere I've wanted to go for years and it blew me away honestly 🥹 also glad I got to see the bead centre the work they do to empower so many women is inspiring. To round it off had a lovely authentic Kenyan lunch which was excellent Only thing I'd say is be more aware than I was in the souvenir store, there's no prices until the till and I misunderstood the exchange rate so it ended up being some very pricey souvenirs but that's on me!
Everything was great, our guide Stephen was amazing, made sure we had the best spots, wonderful lunch and overall best experience.
Stephen was so patient and helpful, particularly with my lack of hearing, and is a Credit to Gracepatt We enjoyed visiting a community shop to buy souvenirs, feeding the giraffes was brilliant - it seemed the giraffes enjoyed being fed. Visiting the Sheldrick Trust to see the baby Elephants was the highlight for me & Stephen helped direct us to a brilliant spot to see the elephants arrive, near to where the milk was situated & we also got to stroke them. We also had time to browse & buy souvenirs. The lunch was delicious & the bead tour was very informative. The ladies enjoyed singing & then sharing the process & we had plenty of time to browse & buy souvenirs. My only comment was there was not much time to spend looking at the giraffe centre due to fitting it with the time the elephants are fed at the sheldrake trust, but I was glad we were able to fit in all items in the day.
It's very refreshing to visit the wild animals especialy when you visit the giraffes and the Elephants. Thank you for the nice review . We appreciate the good work Stephen keep it up.
Excellent tour. Our guide Stephen took great care of us. Made sure we had great viewing points at sanctuary and giraffes. Tour had only two other people on it and was very well done.
The day was amazing! Stephen Mutuku my guide was wonderful and perfectly on time! It was actually just me booked onto the trip and he was very reassuring and knowledgeable. We went to a small cafe first and then headed to the giraffes. It was amazing and you can feed them so easily! Then we went to the baby elephant orphanage. After we went for lunch at a great restaurant and then headed to a bead production and store. It was inspiring as it is mainly aimed at helping women and girls earn an income. Then finally we went to see some cultural/tribal dances which were amazing.
Great experience. After some trepidation of booking with Grace Patt after reading on the Shekdrick Wildlife Trust website that you should book direct with them my fears were totally relieved. Steven from Grace Patt picked us up from our hotel and the day was wonderful. He took photos of us with the giraffes using our cameras and phones that we wouldn't have had otherwise. He helped us to have a perfect vantage point for seeing the elephants. Its quite chaotic to enter and Steven made it seamless. We could not be more pleased with his services as a guide. I would not hesitate to recommend Grace Patt as a company for the day trip to see the Giraffe Centre and Sheldrick and the Bead Factory. There was no pressure at the bead factory to buy and it was an interesting experience. Beautiful people. Thank you Grace Patt and full thanks to Steven our guide.
Welcome Verityc for dropping such a nice review. Thank you Steve for giving your all towards the visitors. Looking forward to serving you agian in the near future.
