Itinerary
Two poets who never liked each other, immortalized together. Unravel why Luxembourg's most ironic monument took seven years to unveil.
A king's secret relationships, a blackmailer, and a liberal constitution. The story of William II is more complicated than his statue suggests.
She was seventeen when she ascended the throne and twenty-nine when she died in exile. The Grand Ducal Palace is where Marie-Adélaïde's turbulent reign began.
A former housewife turned chocolatier who started over in her forties. Step inside for a 60% dark chocolate spoon melting into hot milk with views of the palace.
Know more the history and architecture of St. Michel's Church and what happened to it during the French revolution
Forty meters underground, twelve hundred soldiers, fifty cannons. The fortress Europe called the Gibraltar of the North.
A mermaid who married a count and disappeared forever. Her likeness shows up somewhere you see every day — and probably never noticed.
Military hospital, prison, barracks, concert hall — and medieval cemetery. Every renovation at Neumünster Abbey turns up something unexpected.
Once a military fortification wall, now called the most beautiful balcony in Europe. Pause here as long as you like — this view earns it.
She fled Luxembourg in the middle of the night, then broadcast resistance over the BBC to a nation under Nazi occupation. Charlotte's story is worth stopping for.
Luxembourg's only cathedral, built by Jesuits and gifted to the city. The crypt holds a king of Bohemia, a blind king, and centuries of the Grand Ducal family.
Most of the fortress was blown up or sold off piece by piece. This jagged tower is what survived — and it looks exactly like its name.
Where it all began: the rocky cliff Siegfried traded for in 963 AD. Look down at the Alzette valley and understand why this spot became a country.
The Nazis dismantled this monument during WWII. What stands today is a reconstruction — honoring the Luxembourgers who fought in three wars.
For two years this was the largest stone arch bridge in the world. Luxembourgers still call it the 'Néi Bréck' — the new bridge — a century later.

Did this tour with my wife and we were pleasantly surprised at how good it was, Luxembourg is small and I believe that this tour does justice to it. Would recommend to anyone !
My first time doing a self-guided tour. This is worth every penny. I couldn’t find the stairs down to the Mermaid statue (I recommend that they add another note on the tour and with photos how to get to the road-path-stairs to get down because the map is not too good). Overall, I got to see mostly all the points of. Interest.
Thank you for your feedback! We're glad you enjoyed your first self-guided tour and appreciate your suggestion about improving the directions to the Mermaid statue.
Both the app and the tour and the explanation were very good. Happy with the tour!
¡Muchas gracias por tu comentario! Nos alegra saber que disfrutaste de la aplicación y del recorrido.
Excellent tour of the history and sights of Luxembourg. Easy to listen to and great to do it all at our own pace.
Thank you! We’re glad you enjoyed exploring Luxembourg at your own pace. Hope to see you on another tour soon!
Such fun. We really enjoyed doing this tour at our own pace without being in a big group. Really informative
Thank you! We’re glad you had fun and enjoyed exploring at your own pace. Hope to see you on another tour soon!
Very interesting visit, especially since it is possible to do it in order thanks to the numbers. On the other hand, a small improvement would be to put a small user manual that would open for download, because I did not immediately understand that there was a GPS function, very useful by the way. I recommend anyway!
Very useful, well detailed with photos and text available, plus audio guide, and easy to use. The search for historical sequencing in the information provided is also appreciated.
Grazie mille! Siamo felici che abbiate trovato la guida utile, dettagliata e facile da usare. Speriamo di accompagnarvi presto in un altro tour!
Nice experience, nice and interesting principle. On the other hand in the acknowledgement email it is not clearly enough in my opinion to download the application to then start the journey more easily. The name of the application to download should be more precise because on Google 2 applications are offered. During the journey it would be useful to add the following of the journey with more precise arrow. The principle of the visit is very well thought out and this leaves an autonomy from a guided tour.
