Giants Causeway, Rope Bridge, Carrickfergus Castle and Dark Hedges Tour

Description
Spend a memorable day visiting what is undoubtedly Northern Ireland's most infamous attraction. Travel by coach on a journey you will remember for a lifetime, taking in the spectacular natural beauty that is the Antrim Coastal Road, Carrickfergus Castle, Portaneevy Viewing Point to see the Carrick-a-Rede Rope Bridge (Due to National Trust Staffing Issues they will not accept any coach or group bookings at present but we will be stopping for photographs), the Giant's Causeway, and the Game of Thrones locations, including the Dark Hedges plus much much more. This tour travels the entire coast road from Belfast which is a must-see area of outstanding natural beauty. Not all tours to the Causeway include this but is widely known to be best route to the causeway. To leave this out of your tour would be a big loss!!

Itinerary
Short photo Carrickfergus Castle (from the Irish Carraig Ḟergus or "cairn of Fergus", the name "Fergus" meaning "strong man") is a Norman castle in Northern Ireland, situated in the town of Carrickfergus in County Antrim, on the northern shore of Belfast Lough.
We will be travelling along the fantastic Antrim coast road with the Irish sea on our right and the Glens of Antrim on the left of the coach.
We will be passing the spectacular Glens of Antrim and even climbing Glencorp And crossing the Glen Dun Bridge before climbing to the top of GlenDun and then descending into the town of Ballycastle
We will be stopping at Portaneevy View Point to see the Carrick-a-Rede rope bridge from a distance as the national trust have no staff to deal with groups at present but this is a perfect picture opportunity to take pictures of the rope bridge.
Dark Hedges, known as the Kingsroad in the Game of Thrones HBO series. Walk among the trees made famous by the Game of Thrones followed by a lunch stop at a traditional pub (costs not included).
We will pay a visit to the Bushmills distillery for 30 minutes so you can purchase a bottle or even a tipple of the world famous Irish whiskey in the birth place of such a fine beverage.
The highlight of the day is our stop to the giants causeway its self where you will be able to walk across the stones themselves. Visitors Centre price is not included.
Finally we will have a chance to see the famous Dunluce Castle perched on top of a cliff with crashing waves below also a Game of thrones location and originally home to the Mac Donnell Clan

Lots of interesting places visited, plus plenty of extra spots pointed out. Driver also tour guide was very knowledgeable.
We had a group of 12 and we each had a great time getting to see the giants causeway! The tour guide was knowledgeable and gave us ample time at each stop for us to enjoy and take in the views
A definite MUST SEE when visiting Northern Ireland. The Giant's Causeway was spectacular. The Dark Hedges was a disappointment - nothing like the photos seen online. Overall, the trip was well organised. Marty was both the driver & commentary provider. Great job.
Marty was a fabulous guide! Despite the cold, rainy and windy weather it was a blast. Most scenic scenery I have ever seen. Despite the bad reviews of the restaurant I tried it and really enjoyed it. I would recommend this trip to anyone wanting to make unforgettable memories!
Initially we had booked a half day shore excursion to Giants Causeway, due to low numbers our tour got cancelled but we were given the option of the all day tour that took in a few other places or we could have had a refund. We opted to do the all day tour, we were picked up from our ship but we weren’t dropped back off there, due to one couple wanting to see the city centre the driver suggested we all get off there and that we could catch the shuttle bus back. I was a bit disappointed with this, as 6 of the 8 of us didn’t want city centre and it was originally booked as a shore excursion so I felt we should have been given the option to be taken back. Apart from that the driver, Lyndsey, was very good, very informative and a funny humour. We didn’t have very long at the stops, the whiskey distillery we were given 20 minutes which was barely long enough to walk to the shop and back, let alone look around. From Carrickfergus castle to our next stop was 2hrs 10 mins which most of us felt was a bit too long and there was no toilet stop in that time. Overall it was a good tour and lovely to see the scenery and non tourist areas but it was a long day and a lot of time on the bus.
Superb trip driver was very informative, great coastline to visit. Would highly recommend Bus to take to you causeway and back is £1 each way Brilliant as it rained the day we went
This is a great tour. We saw so much of northern island. Our guide/driver was helpful thoughtful professional and entertaining
We really enjoyed our day on this tour. The Giant’s Causeway was definitely the highlight and made the trip worthwhile. Overall, it was a great experience, and the guide and transportation were excellent. That said, make sure you read the itinerary carefully and understand exactly what’s included. The Carrick-a-Rede Rope Bridge is only a drive-by from quite a distance you can barely see it, so don’t expect to actually visit or get a good view of it. Also, because a few passengers needed to get back earlier, our schedule was adjusted and we had to skip the final stop on the itinerary. That was disappointing, but aside from that, we had a really enjoyable day.Overall, I’d recommend the tour just be sure you know what to expect before booking.
Great visit to giants causeway and dark hedges. Be aware you don’t get to visit the rope bridge except from very far away, so you might want to find a small group tour that actually takes you there instead. The lunch stop isn’t great but that’s not the tour’s fault
Tour was disappointing. At pick up, there was an issue with being over booked, and we lost tour time waiting for it to be sorted out. Bus was below average. Old and worn. Air conditioning did not work while the tour guide was using the microphone.. Traffic incident caused another 1.5 hour delay.
