Getaria Txakoli wine tour from San Sebastian

Description
Experience an authentic Basque wine tour focused on txakoli, the fresh, saline, and vibrant white wine produced here since before the sixteenth century. Depart from San Sebastian along the coastal towns of Getaria and Zarautz, where the Atlantic breeze and sea-facing vineyards shape the unique character of Getaria Txakoli DO. Stroll through Getaria’s harbor and Old Town, then visit a txakolindegi (winery) to see grape-to-glass production, including steep-slope viticulture, harvest, pressing, and fermentation. Enjoy a guided tasting of different txakoli styles paired with a local Cantabrian aperitif. With hotel pick-up and drop-off, private air-conditioned transport, this tour combines wine, scenery, and gastronomy while providing tips for exploring more wineries and restaurants along the Basque coast.

We had a great time! Our guide Paul was great too!
Ibai is a great local guide! He had great stories about local history and was super helpful with recommendations of where to go and what to eat. The wine tour part was also great, very knowledgeable. Beautiful place.
Nice tour and good guide. More free time in getaria so we could have a meal of their fish would have been very nice.
Beautiful views with stunning picture spots. Felt like the wine tour itself was a little long but the wine and food was nice. As mentioned you only go to one winery and you try three wines. Pretty decent for one winery but if you are expecting a lot of wine on this tour it is not for you. We decided we would give this more like a 4.5 out of 5. Viktor was nice and knowledgeable.
Victor was wonderful and the winery was beautiful! It was well worth the trip and I am grateful to have gone. Great experience!
Great tour. Got to see the amazing country side and get out of the city for a short day. Our guide Paul was so knowledgeable and made the tour so fun. The wine tour was amazing. 10/10. Best views, best wine and best company
Great to know everything was to your liking. See you soon!!
Iker showed us a lovely time, visiting several viewing points and small towns while teaching us about the history and culture of these areas. The wine tasting was at an amazing location. We had a great time.
The tour was amazing. The sites were beautiful. I would recommend Dramamine just in case you get dizzy going into mountains or with motion sickness the wine was delicious. The tasting was great. The guide was amazing.
Josu was our guide and he had so much knowledge. He took us through several seaside towns and told us lots of stories and history. We went to a beautiful Txakoli vineyard. Mónica showed us how it was made, bottled, and stored. We had tastings in 2 locations on the vineyard and both had breathtaking views! On the way back we connected with Josu on music and had a fun time listening to each others favorite songs. I would definitely do this tour again and if you get Josu you are in for a great time!
Great trip to Getaria with super nice and good Iker as a guide. Even though the ice bar was closed, we could still taste the premier sorbet with mango and chili.
