Benedict was great! Very knowledgeable but also funny so he kept it interesting. The tour was very comprehensive...
Our leader was courteous knowledgeable well spoken.... Also he knew alot about the little things you would be amazed he knows..
Our guide did not complete the tour as advertised. He spent too much time making random stops and went on and on about subjects of little interest to the group. As a result,, 80 percent of the tour group , including us, had to leave the tour early to go on to our next scheduled events, which was included in the cost of the tour. We missed out on seeing at least 1/3 of the walking tour due to the shenanigans of the guide. Then we had to hurry by ourselves to go to our events without any assistance from the tour guide, which is totally disappointing. Fortunately we knew where we had to go so we made it in time. A less informed person would have missed the events that they already paid for.
This was a very enjoyable tour of the royal sights around London, and our tour guide Will was very knowledgeable and explained every place we visited, and he gave us pointers about where to get the best views for the changing of the guard. We also learned the difference between the Queen's Clock Tower and Big Ben. We had access to the Buckingham Palace tour, and that was a very impressive sight. A must do for first time visitors to London.
This is a mixed review. Our guy, Will, was personable and knowledgeable. He made sure that we had a great viewing position for the changing of the guard. It was a very, very busy day and there were competing groups at every stop. Now for the negative part…he walked very fast. Several people on the tour asked him to slow down, but in the end, I and two or three others in the group were separated from him and did not get to finish the tour. Also… He handed a number of us our vouchers for the Buckingham Palace visit, but neglected to tell us that they had to be turned in at the on siteoffice for an actual ticket which led to confusion when we got to the actual location for our tour.
Walking tour with Will was good but very crowded just very unhappy with the way it finished everyone went to different locations and we had Buckingham palace tour and all he said was head straight down that road he should have given more detailed and say where the gates were and which gate to go to I had to ask so many people along the way and it made it a big day with extra walking not needed So please give more information to each event
The covered some highlights of London but there is so much more to learn! All our group were from North America, not sure if that was planned or not and our guide was an American!
Brandon gave us great historical and fun information for every sight we visited, and made this tour thoroughly enjoyable!
Our Full Royal Tour wasn’t quite what we expected, the first part of the tour was a small group walking tour around a number of sites, our guide Will was very good, he had great knowledge and was very witty however the second part of our tour which was to be a tour inside Buckingham Palace was a large group tour of approx 60 or more people came as a surprise to us as it doesn’t read like that on the Viator website. We didn’t end up doing this part of the tour as you probably wouldn’t be able to see anything and realistically there is no way known that you would be able to keep everyone together with this amount of people.
Our guide Ashley was phenomenal! His blending of historical information with present day interest points was engaging and educational. His in depth understanding of how the changing of the guard functioned allowed us to have a spectacular front row seat for every part of the procession. The whole experience was a once in a lifetime and Ashleys keen sense of timing and knowledge of the city set him apart from every other guide.
