We first booked the 9-day tour just prior to the war in Gaza broke out, so we postponed our trip in fear of any effect that might have in Egypt - that wasn’t any effect. Egypt Direct Tours honored our deposit even after a year’s delay! The 9-day tour organized by Ahmed was wonderful, and exactly as described. Each of the drivers chosen were expert in negotiating the traffic chaos, and got us around town and to our destinations safely. They were also very kind and looked after details according to our needs. Omar was our guide for upper (southern) Egypt: Luxor-Aswan-Abu Simbel. We really enjoyed Omar, he was informative, knowledgeable, humorous, and attentive all at the same time. He was there when needed, and gave us time to ourselves as appropriate. Everything was just right. One of us was a bit under the weather, and both Omar and Ahmed made sure we got the meds we needed from proper pharmacies as we went along. Excellent, Egypt its pyramids, the treasures in museums, temples in Luxor, Abu Simbel, Edfu and other places worth visiting. Mr Ahmed was excellent and took care of us all through out the tour.

This trip was a trip of a lifetime! My wife and I and our other couple were both celebrating our 40th anniversaries and this bucket list trip did not disappoint. Ahmed arranged all of our hotels, cruise, flights in Egypt, tour tickets and transportation with a private guide for the four of us. If we had any questions, he would respond and assist. Our guides, Mamdouh and Mohamed were great! They answered all our questions about the sites and about the culture and traditions of the Egyptian people. They also guided us thru dealing with the vendors and negotiating prices of items we purchased. It was Ramadan while we were there and they couldn’t eat or drink all day until 6pm. I don’t know how they did it in the heat we experienced. By the time we left them we were like family! The pyramids and temples were the main reason for the trip and they were truly amazing. The age and enormity of them is hard to comprehend. The detail of the writings and pictures carved in the walls and ceilings were impeccable. Always straight and perfect and consistent. Like nothing you would see today anywhere in the world. Abu Simbel was the highlight. To think that it was moved up the mountain to avoid being flooded by the lake created by the dam is incredible, but they have video of the work to move it! All in all our trip was fantastic. I highly recommend Ahmed and Egypt Direct without hesitation.

A wonderful nine day tour that included all the highlights of Egypt. Ahmed was always responsive and took care of making sure everything was working out. Our tour guides Mamdouh and Mohamed were very professional, knowledgeable and friendly. They made sure we enjoyed our time and took care of our every need. Everyone should ask for mr Naseer the reason why it is because he is very kind generous person We were two girls traveling allne he made us feel very comfortable and safe around him We felt like being with out dad because he was amazing in everything he took care of us for tickets, explaining everything around making jokes and everything He didnt let others scam us or anything else Just amazing i will post some pic with him to famalierize yourself with him

We were a group of 15 who made a long planned visit to Egypt in December. The group has asked me to pick a travel company for the whole trip, I had checked like 5 companies and decided on Egypt direct and Ahmed. They were on the lower end of the price quotes we got, but our decision was based on our interactions with Ahmed. We were just blown away by his ethics and the drive to do the right thing to the customers. While picking the cruise, the places to visit, hotel etc, he was extremely honest with the prime goal of getting us the best experience and also saving us money, in most cases even when he would get more money he would not suggest something that's not valuable. This was all before the trip started. And once we got there and met him we were even more impressed with him and his team. We are originally from India but live in USA now, our trip there felt like our India trips where our extended family show extreme care and love towards us. They took care every detail for our comfort and safety right from airport pickup to dropping us back at the airport. Of course Egypt was amazing with the history, food and culture, we had a great time at each of the temples, tombs and the Nile cruise. The valley of the kings got us back to 4000 years back, mesmerizing. The two guides we had were extremely knowledgeable and made us feel very important for the whole trip. We can say that we would have easily spent a good 50% more with other companies and not get anything close to the value we got on this trip. From here whenever we remember Egypt we will remember the smiling Ahmed and needless to say that I would wholeheartedly recommend Ahmed and Egypt Direct for any trip in Egypt

We had a great Egypt trip, thanks to Egypt Direct Tours. They had curated a package keeping all our needs and requests in mind. It was a well-planned trip and had such great hotels/cruise included. I would like to specially mention Mr. Ahmed El Kadi, my tour operator, who ensured we enjoyed our stay there.
