Spent more than we thought

Nice guide, kinda pushy though. Be prepared to spend a lot more than you think and see places you don’t want to see. He pushes you to ride a camelride which is not necessary to take great pictures. Be aware, the price you pay when you book the tour is half of the price you end up paying.

Pyramid and Sphinx tour

The 2 Mohamed's were very good and friendly guides. Saw all the main sites with enough time at each to hear the history and take some photos. Lunch was good also. I could have done without the tours of the papyrus and oil shops where they try to sell you stuff you do not want at tripple the going rate. I do not rember this being mentioned in the itenary but this is a minor gripe.

Our male tour guide,...

Our male tour guide, Mohamed, was way more interested in going to places of business that were not on the itinerary. We were also rushed through the pyramids by our guide but were encouraged to stay at an oil seller’s shop for a while that was not on the itinerary, so it was just disappointing. I think it really depends on who your tour guide is, but we did not receive a great one unfortunately. Just be careful of the tour guide trying to take you to places other than the pyramids. After the first stop to an oil seller’s shop that was marketed as part of the pyramid experience, but was not, we said no to all of the other things that our tour guide tried to have us attend thereafter that were not on the itinerary. We said no to Egyptian calligraphy, we said no to seeing how carpets and furniture were made, and we said no to seeing how paper was printed historically. Once we started saying no to things not on the itinerary, there were no longer offers by the tour guide to take pictures of us and the whole tone of the guide changed to less friendly, but we stuck to the itinerary and were able to see everything that we had anticipated because we put our foots down and said no. Again, just be careful and just tell your tour guide that you want to stick to the itinerary only.

Pyramids of Giza Tour

I paid for a group tour, they were supposed to pick me up at 7:30 am and finally passed by me at 9:10 approx, I think they forgot as it was finally a private tour, Fares the driver, although he did not speak English, was very gentle and attentive to the driving, as far as the tour, I do not recommend it, you run the pyramids the truth and the explanation was not very different from what you can read on your own, I recommend going alone, paying admission and spending the full day there, you can walk through everything, if I give a point to the lunch that was very good and was buffet, included in the wreck.

Very short tour compare to your description

I don't recommend this company. Our guide Mohamed was nice and flexible. He didn't push us to buy or to go to toursit shop and we thank him for that. Nevertheless the tour was expensive compare to the tour provided. Small explanations were given to us. Plus, This was not a full day tour: Started in time at 8am but finished at 11:30am. This is call a half day... Lunch was ok but not local at all as mentioned in the description, it was a tourist restaurant.

Escape from this guide

The bad guide, as well as going fast without even being able to take pictures, scammer with insistent pressure to buy tours not of Viator without any guarantee, taking us uselessly to the store for more than 2 hours instead of stopping at the monuments, at least to take some photos.

Wonderful experience!!!

It was a sensational tour, our guide Omair was the best! He explained in detail and had a lot of patience throughout the tour, as we were going with my father who is 82 years old and he is in perfect condition, only sometimes he walks a little slowly and our guide had the empathy and even gave him clubs to cheer him up, very helpful and made a wonderful tour!!! 10/10
