One day trip to Atlantic port of Essaouira, from Marrakech by air-conditioned vehicle. On the route, we stop to visit an Argan Women’s Co-operative. Heading to The Medina of Essaouira is a UNESCO World Heritage site. The tour contains tradition and history. Essaouira has long beautiful sandy beaches. It is not dangerous to swim as good as surfing. There are many activities taking place in this fabulous city. The beach owners offer quads and camel rides over the shoreline.

Trip from Marrakech to Essaouira, a coastal cityproviding a fantastic chance to relax and enjoy the beach. The Medina of Essaouira is a UNESCO World Heritage site. The tour includes history and tradition, with a city guide that will take you around and show you all the best of what the city has to offer. Essaouira has long beautiful sandy beaches. It is safe to swim as well as surfing. There are many activities taking place on the beach – local boys are playing football and surfing. The beach owners offer camel rides and quads over the coastline. From your accommodation in Marrakech and returns back to Marrakech at 18:00 hour. On the route back from Essaouira there is a chance to end our trip by visiting an Argan Oil Women Cooperative. In the city, you will have a short walk across the town, through narrow streets. You will also visit the Skala du Port, the fishing harbor which provides spectacular views over the Portuguese ramparts.

Youssef is a very friendly guide who can show you around in Essaouira Mogador. We ate at the fish market like real locals do and it was an amazing experience! I would recommend it to anybody! If you feel like doing something else or going somewhere you want to go, Youssef will consider doing what you want and make no problem out of it! We went to the beach after and had a real nice time!

One of the best experiences we’ve had on holiday. Youssef was an amazing tour guide. He’s a friendly and genuine person. My children loved him. His prices are also very reasonable. We went on a day trip to Ourika with my 2 kids aged 5 and 8. I thought the walk might be too much for them but Youssef was so helpful with my youngest. We saw the beautiful waterfalls and had lunch in the river. The food was a delicious so definitely don’t miss out this part. Our second day trip was to Essaouira. We stopped on the way to see the famous goat tree and buy some organic argan oil from Berber women. Youssef helped us pick fresh fish from the market where we then took it to be grilled. We went to the seaside and explored around the souq. We managed to do quite a lot in just one day. I will definitely be booking another tour with Dessert Morocco Adventures if I visit Morocco again.

First off, we had an issue with our driver. The company messaged me and we resolved this issue. So no further issues with that. The best part of the trip was the guided tour around Essouira. Our guide was amazing, she helped us get some good discounts and made sure we werent paying too much for things. We visited an amazing carpet and rug shop. There were easily thousands of carpets of all shapes, sizes and colours. I came away with a white silk carpet with blue and yellow patterns. We picked up various other bits and pieces as we went through. She taught us lots about the history of Essaouira which was amazing. One thing to bear in mind, if you have a weak stomach, stay away from the port as the fish were particularly stinky. However, the tour was amazing, trailing through side streets and to many different shops. She was very polite and asked us lots of questions about our home city (London) as well. Amazing city with lots of history and amazing things to buy.
