Full-Day Tour to Cape of Good Hope & Penguins from Cape Town

Description
This excursion is the ideal approach to discover the local wildlife and the breathtaking Cape Peninsula. Take a small-group tour as a more personal option to crammed bus trips. See the vibrant structures of Bo-Kaap and take in the breathtaking scenery of the Cape of Good Hope as you go. The cruise includes stops at Boulders Beach, home to the African Penguin colony, and the charming communities of Hout Bay and Kalk Bay. Observe a community of penguins on Boulders Beach, visit two oceans, and journey to the edge of the African continent at the Cape of Good Hope. A guide, some entrance fees, and round-trip hotel transport are also included.
Tour Options
Itinerary
You will observe what is often a multicultural neighborhood in Bo-kaap. Cobblestone streets and vividly coloured houses are some things you will encounter.
Photo stop, Sightseeing. Locals enjoy picnics and games in the powerful Atlantic waves at Camps Bay. Swims with the whole family might be safer if you look for the places with flags. The sands are strikingly situated at the base of the Twelve Apostles Mountains, with festive eateries lining the shore.
Arts & crafts market visit
Numerous seals can be observed swimming in the nearby water, and hundreds can be seen on the little island. Seeing that many seals at once is an exceptional experience. Some are spotted mating, some are seen fighting or playing, and still others are seen engaging in activity.
We drive around Chapman's Peak as we leave Hout Bay, stopping at the overlook for amazing pictures. It should come as no surprise that one of the world's most picturesque treks is Chapman's Peak.
We pause at Simon's Town's Just Nuisance monument. Your tour guide will regale you with the endearing tale of Just Nuisance, a successful member of the South African Navy. The location of the South African Naval Base is Simon's Town. Your Guide will suggest a lunch restaurant based on the dietary needs of the group.
Our next destination is the Boulders Beach penguin colony, where your guide will take you to the observation platform so you can get up close and personal with a few of the 2500 breeding pairs of African penguins. On the boardwalk, you might even come across one or two of these fascinating animals strolling beside you.
The Cape of Good Hope and Cape Point Lighthouse serve as the tour's highlights. We shall examine the Dias and Vasco Da Gama crosses here. Around 1487 and 1495, these two gentlemen became the first early European settlers in Cape Town. Please wear appropriate walking shoes, carry sunscreen, a jersey or jacket, and a hat. In a small group setting, the entire tour will be led by your own private tour guide.
We will be able to take the Funicular or a short stroll to the Cape Point lighthouse from the Cape of Good Hope. We will also investigate the Cape Point, the westernmost tip of Africa, where the warm Agulhas current of the Indian Ocean meets the chilly Benguela current of the Atlantic Ocean. We'll investigate the lighthouse, and so forth.
