Itinerary
Kolossi Castle, a fine example of military architecture originally constructed in the 13th century.
Curium Amphitheater, one of the island's most important city-kingdoms in antiquity.
The stadium of Kourion is located between the archaeological site of Kourion and the Sanctuary of Apollo Hylates in Cyprus. It was constructed during the reign of Emperor Antoninus Pius in the 2nd century CE and was used for the sports of the Hellenic pentathlon like running, jumping, wrestling and throwing the discus or javelin. With seven rows of seats, the stadium of Kourion could accommodate around 6000 spectators
The Sanctuary of Apollo Hylati lies west of Kourion and is one of the most important sanctuaries of ancient Cyprus
The archaeological site of Palaipafos (‘old Pafos’ in Greek) is located in Kouklia Village and was one of the most important city-kingdoms of Cyprus, as well as the first Cypriot site to be included in the World Heritage List of UNESCO in 1980. The Sanctuary of Aphrodite is the most famous of the Ancient Greek Goddess’ sanctuaries, and its ancient remains date back to the 12th century BC, whilst it remained a place of worship until the 3rd - 4th centuries AD. There are two versions of how Palaipafos was founded; one story tells that Agapenor, the King of Tegea (Peloponesus), founded the city-kingdom on his way back from the Trojan War. A second legend tells that Kinyras, the local legendary king (12th century) was the founder and first High Priest of The Sanctuary of Aphrodite. The museum, housed in a Lusignan Manor, exhibits many interesting finds from the area and portrays how the Cult of the Goddess of Fertility developed into the Cult of Aphrodite.
Medieval Castle, originally a Byzantine fortress which was built in order to protect the port & Lunch at a traditional restaurant
The House of Dionysos is a monument of New Paphos and with Palepaphos, together they have been included in the list of World Heritage of UNESCO. The House was build in the Roman period, in the 2nd century AD. It has elaborate mosaic floors with mythological subjects , mainly Dionysian activities , such as harvesting and wine drinking as well as hunting images . Notable is the floor of the entrance, which belonged to an earlier building of the Hellenistic period and is made with sea pebbles. I depicts the mythical sea monster Scylla
UNESCO's World Heritage Site, which contains a set of well-preserved underground tombs and chambers where high ranking officials and aristocracy were buried there
Aphrodite's Rock which has been regarded since ancient times as the birthplace of Aphrodite, goddess of love and fertility.

Hello! Thank you for your kind words. We will be glad to welcome you back to our beautiful island and offer you a unique travel experience on your next visit to Cyprus 😊
My daughter and I were visiting from the US and had prearranged several transfers with itaxi. The process was easy and the rates were very good. We were incredibly lucky to have Chryso as our driver and guide during our time in Cyprus. What began as a simple ride to visit a relative turned into something truly special. Chryso was meant to wait in the car for an hour, but my cousin insisted she come inside and join us—and within minutes, it felt like we had known her for years. She was warm, engaging, and gracious, and she even helped translate, making the visit so much richer and more comfortable for everyone. We had scheduled a full-day tour for the following day to see the Tomb of the Kings, the mosaics, and other historic sights, and we specifically requested Chryso again. We were thrilled when she arrived to pick us up. She is incredibly personable and upbeat, speaks excellent English, and has a deep knowledge of the history and stories behind every site we visited. On top of that, she is a confident and very skilled driver, which made the entire day feel relaxed and effortless. By the end of the tour, we were genuinely sad to say goodbye. Chryso didn’t just drive us from place to place—she made the experience memorable, personal, and joyful. We cannot recommend itaxi enough. They were on time, communicative and the cars we immaculate. We will now only use itaxi when we visit Cyprus.
It gives a good and fairly comprehensive overview of pre-Christian coastal Cyprus and gives a first time tourist a look at modern day Cyprus... in all educational and interesting. Commend Chryso our driver who was steady and reliable, and attentive to our needs.
I had a great day seeing all the archeological sites with Steve as my tour guide/driver. He shared a lot about the Cypriot culture and was passionate about the history. Went to a nice bakery for a quick snack. Paphos was beautiful. It was a beautiful day for this tour.
Our guide, Chryso, was wonderful from the start. She picked us up right on time and immediately set the tone with her warm personality, deep knowledge, and the sweetest hospitality. The itinerary was packed with history yet never felt rushed. We visited castles, ancient ruins, UNESCO sites, the harbor and Aphrodite’s Rock and more, and each stop felt meaningful. Chryso always showed us where to get the best views and helped us understand what we were looking at which made the day feel so much richer. Lunch was a highlight too. Since we are staying in Ayia Napa during the off season and struggling to find authentic food, having her take us to a local spot was spectacular! The weather in late November was perfect around 70 degrees Fahrenheit. Shorts, tanks and comfortable walking shoes were exactly right. We didn’t end up needing the jackets we brought just in case. My boyfriend wanted to see ruins and this tour exceeded both our expectations. We felt safe, well taken care of, and left with memories we’ll talk about for a long time. Highly recommend this experience to anyone visiting Cyprus!!
Whoa I think I’ve seen the entire Paphos in just one day! Thanks to itaxis and chryso for the amazing tour. Chryso provided water, fruits and she really went her way out to help me find lokoumades! Enjoyed my day and I’m so glad I booked it with them to maximise the little time I have in Cyprus!
Truly an incredible day filled with history, beauty and adventure. Steve our driver was fantastic. He gave us every detail about the island and navigates us to all of our stops with ease. He was friendly, professional and extremely knowledgeable. The door to door service was perfect for me and finally. Thank you. Highly recommend this experience as a private event.
I used itaxi for a day trip to Paphos from Larnaca, Cypress including intermediate stops to see Kyrenia Castle, Tomb of the Kings, Aphrodite's Rock, Sanctuary of Apollo, the Kourion Archaeological site, and the incredible mosaics of the Paphos Archaeological Park...and we stopped for lunch at one of the best Greek/Cypriot restaurants I have ever eaten at. My guide, was incredible. Excellent conversationalist (and thus wonderful English), great knowledge about what I was going to see, very safe driver, and made sure that I had plenty of time to visit each site as desired. She also took me to a fantastic Greek restaurant for lunch......what a great food experience!! (that was probably one of the best parts of the tour). This visit was the first day of 10 on my vacation and it is going to be hard to top. Highest recommendation for this tour.
