Troodos Mountains Villages: All Inclusive Food & Wine Day Tour

We've already reviewed elsewhere, but adding this as a thumbs up to Maria. She made the day easy and memorable for everyone, including/despite some participants from a country that gave no regard to timing or mutual respect. I've no hesitation in recommending this tour.

Today we were hosted on a full day tour by Maria at Cyprus Taste Tours. This has been a highlight of our whole trip and I am so grateful to Maria for making the experience personal, informative, fun and relaxing. She was able to answer all of our questions about Cyprus, foods, wine and the region we explored. The van was clean, modern and well kept and the air conditioning was good. I hope anyone contemplating this tour signs up. It was equivalent to days of exploring on our own. Thanks Maria.

Had a really good day with Helena as our guide! The recommendation was to have breakfast but we had sooo much lovely food I wouldn’t recommend this. An air conditioned car kept us cool and all meals and walking was in the shade. Learnt a lot and had lovely food, would really recommend!

What a fantastic tour that makes you fall in love with Cyprus. The villages, the history, the food, the scenery, everything was amazing! Cannot recommend this enough! Helena was an amazing guide, very informative and personable!

It was an amazing tour with Georgina! She is with full energy for the whole day and never missed out looking after anyone in the group. At the same time she is full of knowledge of the place and delivered them in very interesting way. Not to mentioned some fun fact about the culture since we did the tour one day before easter which is very interesting for me as well. All good and beverage we tried were excellent. I also love that it is small group less than six so it’s very interactive throughout and effiecient. I enjoyed it so much! Thank you again Georgina🫶🏽

Firstly from day one from reserving this tour everyone was accommodating that I was travelling from Nicosia, they organised a place to meet close to Lanraca and it worked out very well. I was emailed and contacted on WhatsApp many times. Georgina was an absolute delight. Chatty bubbly, really encouraging you to talk and was incredibly welcoming, and knowledgable of local cuisine. She was also incredibly accommodating and helped me get the bus home back to Nicosia in Larnaca! I will treasure the memory of this tour and really love to do it again one day.

We took this tour with Helena and were picked up at our Larnaca stay along with one other. We then drove to Limassol to pick up 2 other guests - so 5 in total. The vehicle takes 7 although I would not have liked a full day in this car with 7 people - I already had issues with leg room in the back. Regardless Helena took us off to the Troodos mountains and some small villages to visit. The only one I would have skipped was the Rose Factory - for us it was too much of a sales pitch and not a lot of interesting information. The wine tasting was in a beautiful vineyard - Helena did not join us at the table - and the staff member serving us wasn't the friendliest. Enjoyed the wine but not so much the experience. Lunch stop was great - lots of food and whatever was not eaten was free to take home. A long day and it was after 7pm when we got back to Larnaca but we enjoyed it and would recommend the tour.

This was an unforgettable day, with awesome Georgina as our guide. We visited several authentic and interesting places, each providing a distinct experience. Highly recommended, you won't regret!

Thoroughly enjoyed this insightful and engaging tour. We covered a lot of ground and got to try so many foods and drinks in one day. Helena is an incredibly experienced and knowledgable guide who is proud of her heritage and delivered an excellent experience for our all ladies group. I really appreciated the extra effort taken by the tour company to arrange a pick up directly from my hotel as a solo traveller in the country for the first time where public transport can be difficult - this made me feel much safer. The tour was very well planned so we did not have to travel for longer than 15 minutes between stops and we tried everything from halloumi, wine and honey to donkey milk! I would highly recommend this tour and seeing the beautiful countryside of Cyprus with such rich wildlife and culture was the highlight of my trip - thank you!
