Experience Teotihuacan Pyramids from the sky! Be part of a magical and colorful hot air balloon adventure. We will pick you up at your hotel in Mexico City around 5:00 am for a 1 hour drive to Teotihuacan. At sunrise we will prepare and inflate the hot-air balloon with the rest of your group (6-10 people) and as soon as it leaves the ground it's an unforgettable experience. After landing, receive your certificate and celebrate with a glass of champagne to give thanks to the wind, fire, water and mother earth for allowing us to have this experience. Enjoy an included buffet breakfast. Then we will drop you off at the Teotihuacan pyramids around 9:30 am so you can walk at your own pace and admire them from the bottom as well (entrance is not included). We will pick you up around 1:00 pm and bring you back to Mexico City!

Feel the excitement of admiring the Sun and Moon temples from 2000 feet above the ground and admire the beautiful green valley, volcanoes and mountains during the flight. After landing, receive your certificate and celebrate with a glass of champagne and enjoy an included buffet breakfast. Then we will drop you off at the Teotihuacan pyramids around 9:30 am, so you can walk at your own pace and admire them from the bottom as well (entrance is not included, it costs around 57 pesos p/person). You will have the opportunity to hire a guide if you wish once you are there as well. We will pick you up around 1:00 pm and bring you back to Mexico City!

- Pick up time is between 4:15 - 5:15 AM. Please reconfirm 1 day before. You will be in the 6am or 8am flight depending on availability. 8am group enjoys breakfast while waiting for flight.
- A maximum of 10 people per booking
- Minimum age is 6 years. Due to height, small children will not be able to see out of the basket of the balloon.
- Tour operator does not provide any photography services on this tour. You may come across photographers at Teotihuacan who will offer to take your photos for a fee. Please keep in mind that these photographers are independent and not affiliated with our company.
- Our local operator is part of the Teotihuacán Hot Air Balloon Federation, and has all the required official permits to operate.

They picked us up at the hotel. It was an amazing experience. Saul , the driver and capitán of the air balloon. The captain explained to us everything about the hot air balloon.
Now that I've really sat and thought about it, beware of this activity. First and foremost, if you're overweight (by their standards), you're forced to pay extra, and I had to demand a receipt in this regard. Secondly, they do these drone photos and videos whilst you're in the air and upon getting back to base, they cost an arm and a leg.... the tour that accompanies the air balloon, the tourist shop is overpriced and then there are these vendors at the pyramids that have these devices that they blow non-stop which are quite annoying.....While being in the air is great, nothing else was! So overall, BEWARE!
Such a great and magical experience! It’s been a bucket list item for us and it finally came true. Thank you! Everything went smooth and perfect! They picked us up at our hotel in the morning. Then we went to the launch site. Got into our balloon and floated for about an hour over Teotihuacan. I thought the trip was going to be much shorter but we were pleasantly surprised. The champagne toast at the end was so classy. Spend 3 hours exploring the ruins and then they took us back to our hotel. Oh and forgot the breakfast with the mariachi. Food was great too! Thank you for such an incredible experience!
The balloon trip itself was fantastic and the highlight of our trip to Mexico City. Our transportation driver was 15 minutes late picking us up in the morning but we arrived in time for the sunrise flight. The pilot and crew with Voltare were friendly and experienced. Many in our group were afraid of heights but everyone felt 100% comfortable. The basket holds 16 people - 4 in each corner with the pilot in the center. We'd heard it can be cold. On the day of our flight the ground temp was 14*C [57*F] and with a long sleeved top and jean jacket over top no one was cold. After the flight we toasted with sparkling wine. We then headed back for breakfast, which everyone found disappointing. We hired a guide for our trip inside the pyramids. This was an extra cost but well worth it, and included the pyramid entrance fee. Other than breakfast, the only reason this isn't 5 stars is one of our group was too sick to leave the hotel on the day of our experience, and even with a note from a local Dr validating the medical illness, Viator refused to offer a refund - although the tour company told us on the day of that they would refund us.

The best experience in Mexico by far! It was awesome and not to be missed. Everyone was professional and the whole experience worth the money. We took the additional tour of the site after the balloon ride, which was ~ $550 pesos each, but worth it.
Fantastic tour but extremely disappointed that our mini-bus driver told everyone to get off at a location that, for us, was over an hours walk away from our hotel where we had been picked up
Very nice experiece of balloon trip. It took us to see the pyrimids from the top and very beautiful landscape. Romantic journey as well with a decent breakfast after the balloon journey.
The trip was fabulous, and very well organized. The balloon ride and the guided tour of the historical site were both excellent. From the pick up point in Mexico City, to the breakfast, to the guided tour of the archeological site, through to the return to Mexico City, everything worked like clockwork.
It was just unreal and the trip was well organised by the organiser. It a must to do if you are travelling to Mexico. it's worth my euro... :)
