We were supposed to be 8, but in the end there were only 4 of us to do this outing and it was great, Abdul the manager sent us a smaller car suitable for our group. Hicham, our driver was very nice. He picked us up at our Riad at 8:30 so we could enjoy the day. The scenery on the way to Ouarzazate is beautiful and the Atlas studios are really great to do! It's a pretty long drive in a day, but it's worth a visit. This is the first time I've been through this Viator site, and it was very well organized.
At 9am we started our trip by meeting our driver, Othman. He was extremely kind and polite in his manners - seemed even shy at the beginning. But it only took us a couple of minutes to commence a really nice talk.Throughout the trip he was kind enough to ask us whether the temperature was fine, if the speed was good, etc. He cared about us and that gave us a true sense of trust and honesty. We dropped off at the stablished spots but Othman allowed us to pick any alternative spot to take pictures, to explore or even to relax. For that same reason, we arrived to Marrakech 3h30 later but he was never bothered with that! Actually, we wanted to buy some Argon Oil and despite of some closed shops he was able to find one which was actually closed too, but he managed to ask the owner to get it opened for us, so apart from the oil, we end ended up getting a lecture on how the oil was produced and having a great regional snack with bread with honey and Moroccan tea. About the trip itself, it is an amazing opportunity to see arid and dusty landscapes different from everything we usual see. The road can be a nice/harsh zig-zag, depending on your love of highs! Ait-Ben-Haddou is just an amazing spot that you should visit at any cost!!! About the Cinema Studios...we’re not as sure. We didn’t find it as interesting as we thought. A lot of stuff without names or any kind and information..some nice scenarios but that’s all.. 7€ to visit a kind of cinema warehouse in the middle of nowhere..We think is not that worth it. In short, the whole day was an amazing submersive experience and we definitely recommend it - with the one and only Mr. Othman! We will definitely be back.

This is a very long trip but worth it. We were picked up at our resort and travelled to Ait Ben Haddou. We made a couple of washroom stops on the way. Driver was punctual, safe driver, spoke English and polite. He found us a guide at Ait Ben Haddou and we paid 15 euros. It was well worth it. The guide showed us and explained the Kasbah and we even went to his home! We spent about an hour or so there and then back into the van and off to Ouarzazate. We had lunch across from Taourirt and it was delicious. We ate on the patio overlooking the Ouarzazate. After lunch we had time to visit Taourirt. If you enjoy looking at ancient sites you will like this too. Returning to Marrakesh, we had a photo stop at Taoulifoute, an abandoned Kasbah but not as old as Ait Ben Haddou. Overall the trip was wonderful and well worth the time.
