We will begin the tour with a visit to the magnificent Temples of Paestum, surrounded by walls still in good condition with a polygonal perimeter of almost 5 km. We will continue with a visit to the Ruins of Pompeii, the third most visited state museum site in Italy. Relax aboard a Mercedes sedan or minivan, with air conditioning, wifi and a bottle of water on board. Our drivers will speak English, they will be professional and very helpful, they know the areas you will visit well and will be able to give you excellent advice. You will be picked up directly at the departure point, from the port, station, airport or another location (hotel), you will be dropped off at the exact point of your arrival and you will be assisted with your luggage. Paestum was most likely one of the largest Greek cities on the coast of the Tyrrhenian Sea in Magna Graecia. It is known for their three ancient Greek temples, which are still in an excellent state of preservation today. - You will have 1.5 hours free to visit the Temples of Paestum. If you want I can find a guide for you. (the price of the guide and tickets are not included in the tour)
Pompeii is one of the most significant pieces of evidence of Roman civilization and provides exceptional information on the art, customs, crafts and daily life of the past. The city has re-emerged after centuries just as it would have been when it was buried in the layer of ash and lava from the eruption of Vesuvius in the year 79 AD. In what had been one of the most active and splendid centers of Rome, life stopped definitively. You will have 2 hours free to visit the ruins of Pompeii. If you want I can find a guide for you. (the price of the guide and tickets are not included in the tour) - Between one attraction and another, the customer can decide to add a lunch and a wine tasting, typical of Vesuvius, with a visit to the vineyards, or a tasting of buffalo mozzarella products, on a farm. - You will probably need to add extra hours if you add lunch since it will take more than 8 hours, but we will decide this together. TASTING IS NOT INCLUDED IN THE PRICE MINIMUM VALUE €30/45

Phenomenal! This was a once-in-a-lifetime trip for my family that included four generations. We were able to spend time living and eating like Italians and got to see many of the most fabulous sites in Rome, Florence, and Venice. But by and far our Private tour and day trip to The Ruins of Pompeii guided tour and The Greek Temples of Paestum was everyone's favorite day before we even knew we were going to the beautiful Bosco de Medici vineyard for an amazing lunch and wine tasting. Everything was organized for us including the car seat for the baby. Our driver was waiting when we arrived at the train station with a comfortable, air-conditioned van. We didn't have to worry about anything, we could just sit back and relax and have a great time. Definitely the easiest day of our whole trip 🙂 Our driver was amazing. He helped us get whatever we needed and gave lots of information on the areas we were visiting and the lifestyle. We had experiences of a lifetime and memories we will never forget. Thank you Palma and Nello, you are awesome at what you do!
The day was ok but rushed. When we booked it, it was very misleading, but they have since changed it to be more accurate. This is strictly a transfer and you need to grab lunch on the run because time is not allowed for that. When we booked it, it looked like a tour and that we would have time to stop at a winery as long as we paid for what we did there. It also said that our driver would stop at scenic spots and let us take pictures, while pointing out things along the way. None of this was the case, but fortunately they changed the listing. Paolo, our driver was very nice, but only tried to answer our questions and didn't add anything additional as far as information about the area. My rating is based on the listing we booked it from and not what is represented now.
Giuseppe was very prompt and professional. He speaks exceptional English and was able to anticipate our needs. When we come back to this area, we will hire him again.
We had a fantastic experience with this booking. The communication beforehand was seamless and easy; the company was helpful in making recommendations & allowed us to customize our day, all with plans prepared in advance! Our driver, Giuseppe, even arrived early to pick us up from our hotel and he was friendly, polite, & an excellent driver. The car was also comfortable for the duration of our private drive. We had just the right amount of time to enjoy our independent experiences in Pompeii & Paestum (plus, the lunch stop we added on), but you could choose to arrange tours if you wish.
