A Perfect Day Exploring the Cape Peninsula!

We did a day trip down to Cape Peninsula and it exceeded every expectation. The drive itself was stunning, winding along dramatic coastline with incredible views the whole way. We hiked up to the Cape Point lighthouse, which was well worth the effort for the views from the top (you can also take a funicular) A highlight was stopping to see the African penguins — they were absolutely adorable and such a unique thing to experience so close to Cape Town. Our guide Mark made the day even better. He was incredibly knowledgeable about the area’s history and shared great local context throughout, which added so much depth to the trip. Highly recommend this excursion if you’re visiting Cape Town

Perfect day trip for our first time in Cape Town

We had an amazing private tour of the Cape Peninsula—definitely one of the highlights of our time in Cape Town. Our guide, Mark, was fantastic. He really took the time to understand our preferences and tailored the day accordingly, making it feel very personal and memorable. He was extremely accommodating with our requests, while also sharing detailed insights and interesting local facts about each stop. The itinerary was well-paced, allowing us to fully enjoy every location without ever feeling rushed. Every stop was absolutely stunning, and the whole experience felt seamless from start to finish. We couldn’t have asked for a better day and would highly recommend this tour—especially with Mark!

A fun way to see Cape Town!

The day was excellent! Mark was my tour guide. He was timely, knowledgeable and communicative throughout the day! I had a limited time to hit up all of the “must sees” in Cape Town because I was on a work trip and this tour absolutely exceeded all of my expectations! Cape Town is beautiful and seeped in so much profound history. Mark found the perfect balance of pointing out stunning views while balancing interesting facts. He was also a great driver which is important to me as I easily get headaches in the car. I nagged him about seeing a baboon all day. He kept his eyes peeled and found us one! This tour is well worth it for so many reasons and I’d recommend it to anyone visiting Cape Town!

An enriching experience that we recommend without hesitation!

A great day with our guide, Mark! He introduced us to the Cape of Good Hope and Cape Point through breathtaking scenery. We even met some ostriches along the way! His explanations, in French, were clear, exciting and full of anecdotes about the history of South Africa and the places visited. An enriching experience that we recommend without hesitation!
