Itinerary
Built in 1897, the Great Market Hall is the most beautiful and the largest indoor market in Budapest.
The Museum is a grandiose Neo-Classical landmark of the capital.
In the Castle district (part of World Heritage) with its unique panorama, we take a walk and show you the Buda Castle, the Alexander Palace, the Dísz square, the Holy Trinity Square, the famous Matthias Church, and the Fisherman’s Bastion (look-out terrace).
There are two remarkable things to see on the top of Gellért Hill: the Citadel and the Liberation Monument. Don't miss visiting Gellért Hill if you would like to see incredible panoramas and hear interesting stories. (The Citadel is under construction)
The Basilica is the largest church in Budapest, houses Hungary’s most sacred treasure, St. Stephen’s mummified right hand, the Szent Jobb (Holy Right Hand). We recommend visiting the Basilica from inside as well, as it is one of the most beautiful churches of the country with many exciting details.
Vajdahunyad Castle is a romantic castle in Budapest, located in the beautiful City Park by the boating lake (skating rink in winter). If you wish, you can take a nice walk with your tour guide around the castle in this beautiful green area.
This theater-looking building is a swimming pool and thermal bath. Take a look at the famous Szechenyi Bath, located in the City Park.
The Heroes' Square is a great place to learn about Hungary's rich history. Here you will see the Heroes' Monument, the Millenary Monument, the Art Gallery, the Museum of Fine Art and more.
The Jewish Quarter is one of the most exciting parts of Budapest, where you can see the largest Synagogue in the city, emblematic ruin bars and more!
Visit the splendid Parliament building from outside and listen to some interesting facts about it.
Explore the amazing beauty and charm of Szentendre’s Baroque streets which is also surrounded with happy faces and beautiful spots. There is no doubt that it belongs to the picture-perfect towns in Hungary. Specifically, it is situated close to Budapest, which is the dwelling places of art galleries and craft shops in the Mediterranean atmosphere. It features souvenir shops, art galleries and quaint cafes that lie on the narrow streets of the town.

Christine was an excellent guide and so knowledgable. She was also very thoughtful and co-operative regarding my wife’s walking limitations. We gained massive insights into Hungarian life, history and culture. Thank you. The Marzipan museum in Szentendre was a huge surprise and far more interesting than we had expected. Lazlo was a first rate driver too.

We made a 5 hours tour with lunch to Szentendre… very interesting city by the Danube at the outskirts of Budapest… full of history and nice shops… Kristina, our guide, very sympathetic and vibrant for Hungary… it was really a good choice… the lunch could be in a better place but this was not enough to jeopardize the excellent experience!
Dear Paulo, Thank you for your kind words. We are happy to hear you was satisfied with the tour. Hope to hear from you again, when you come back to Budapest! Best wishes, Boglárka Kaszás
