Seeing Budapest from the Danube is a must! The city is so beautiful at night! The hosts in the boat were very good too!
This was the worst travel experience I’ve ever had. I wasn’t feeling well on the day of my cruise, so I first sent a message through the TripAdvisor/Viator platform asking if I could change my booking to another date. Then I thought making a phone call would probably be more straightforward, so I called the customer service number listed on the booking page. The TripAdvisor/Viator representative was very helpful and even tried calling the cruise operator on my behalf to ask whether my booking could be changed. Unfortunately, no one answered. The representative told me that the cruise operator usually responds within 24 hours, but since my cruise was departing in less than two hours, they suggested that I should just attend the cruise that evening. So I made my way to the cruise terminal. When I arrived, I was shocked to be told that my booking had already been changed to another date, so I was not allowed to board. I explained exactly what had happened to the girl at the ticket office, but her attitude was a disaster. She showed no understanding, no empathy, and didn’t even apologize. Instead, she kept insisting that they had sent me a message through the TripAdvisor/Viator inbox and repeatedly said that “TripAdvisor/Viator is just another company” and that what their customer service told me “doesn’t count.” I honestly don’t understand this. If customers are not supposed to rely on TripAdvisor/Viator, then why sell tickets through their platform? From a customer’s perspective, TripAdvisor/Viator and the cruise operator are part of the same booking experience. The unprofessional miscommunication between the two companies ultimately misled the customer, yet no one was willing to take responsibility. They expected me to check the platform’s inbox after I had already spoken directly with a TripAdvisor/Viator representative on the phone, who had advised me to attend the cruise. Why wasn’t I contacted by phone, text message, or email if the booking had been changed? Who would think to go back and keep checking an internal platform inbox in such a time-sensitive situation? In the end, I received no apology, no refund, and nothing but an arrogant attitude. This was an absolutely ridiculous experience and the worst service I have ever encountered. I saw absolutely no professionalism, no accountability, and no compassion throughout this entire experience.

It was a dream come true experience. I did a lot of research on ChatGPT and YouTube videos. But the boat ride in the evening is unbelievable and cannot be captured in pictures. Staff was great very courteous. I would highly recommend this one hour then you prefer cruise. Specially after 8:20 PM.
We loved this relaxing overview of the city our first night in Budapest! We sat on the top deck. The sun was warm but the breeze felt great! We were fortunate to be able to see the lights come on in the city towards the end of our 8:15 cruise.
It is a different way of seeing Budapest - esp as it’s at night and the buildings are lit up. Stunning
They leave on schedule, and on the 8:15 PM trip, the lights of the parliament turn on. A very good experience to see the places to visit from another perspective. They offer something to drink.
One of the best things to do in Budapest.
It was challenging to get on board the ship with other boats disembarking at the same time, especially with a stroller. By the time we got on all the good seats on the roof or the sides were taken. You should plan to arrive as early as possible to get the best seats.
The cruise was great to start this weekend, the visible monuments were magnificent.
