This tour packed all of the highlights into 1 day which was perfect for us! We had a female tour guide whose name we unfortunately don’t remember but she was great. She was incredibly knowledgeable about art history & Milan’s history. Even on a 95° day, this tour was worth it. We did not have to wait to enter the Duomo, we toured many beautiful streets of Milan and other historic sighs, and we had a break for refreshments in the middle. We ended the day at an appointment viewing of The Last Supper. The tour was very well planned and organized. Lots of walking but well worth it!
Our tour guide, Sylvia, gave us exceptional insight into the history of Milan from as early as Roman times. Her tour included some “off the beaten path” views and lesser known but impressive churches where she helped us to see Christianity through the eyes of the devout in earlier times. Her tour felt as though we were there at those times. Her background in archeology and deep appreciation for history made this tour feel like we were on “ a dig” through history! One thing that Viator could have done better was to describe the meeting location more precisely. Others on the tour who booked through different companies had the exact location to meet instead of a describing a large plaza as the meeting point.
This was a great way to explore Milan! JeanLuca chatted almost to whole 6 hours with lots of interesting histories and facts. He had great recommendations for the coffee break and lunch.
We had a great day on our full day walking tour in Milan. Our guide, Daniele, was great. He is so knowledgeable about Milan, and Italy. His pace was perfect for us. He tried to keep us out of the sun walking in the 95° heat. He told extra stories about not only the places we visited, but also about places we passed, or general history of Milan and Italy. He said he really loves his job, and we could tell. He was very good about keeping the group together. My daughter and I had a great day. 😃
A great tour to get a general perspective of Milan and its Duomo, and more importantly, the visit of the Last Super was the ultimate highlight.
Maria was a fountain of amazing information as she guided us to various sites in Milan’s historic district. She was considerate of the weather and took us along shaded paths as much as possible. This was much better than a self guided tour would have been. She provided great insights into the Duomo and the Last Supper which made the tour definitely worth the price.
Great tour. Learned a lot. I missed the last supper years ago, and knew I couldn’t miss it again. Giada was a great guide. Two thumbs up.
We had an amazing time exploring Milan, the Duomo, The Last Supper, and learning about all the interesting architecture, history, art, and food along the way. We had a warm sunny day but we stayed in the shade and kept comfortable and hydrated. I highly recommend this tour.
Great time getting to know the city and her heritage. Our guide Maria was very knowledgeable and kind. Would recommend it to anyone
We truly enjoyed it! Our guide, Daniel was a wealth of knowledge on each of the places we went. He was like a walking encyclopedia only more personable and fun. I would highly recommend this tour and guide. BTW, his real name was more complicated so he said we could call him Daniel which I thought was nice of him.
