Just a short drive from the city, Ourika offers a peaceful contrast with its lush green landscapes, cool mountain air, and traditional Berber villages. Your day begins with a comfortable drive through scenic countryside, passing olive groves, orchards, and small settlements nestled along the riverbanks. Upon arrival in the Ourika Valley, you’ll be welcomed by the serene beauty of this mountain oasis. The highlight of the excursion is a guided hike to the Setti Fatma waterfalls, where you’ll explore a series of seven cascading falls surrounded by dramatic rock formations and native flora. The local guide will lead you along mountain trails, sharing insights into the region’s natural features and Berber culture along the way. You'll have plenty of time for photos, admire the views, and feel the refreshing mist of the waterfalls

Your full-day excursion to Ourika Valley will start at 09h00 AM. This trip will take us through some authentic Berber villages. We won’t be able to visit them, but just admiring them from a distance gives us a very clear idea of how people still live here. Many are craftsmen and survive from their natural resources and from selling their crafts. The Ourika valley is located at the foot of the High Atlas Mountains and is incredibly fertile. It is fed by the streams of the rivers that come down the mountains. You will be able to sample a typical rural dish for lunch. Of course, we will visit some waterfalls located along the river. We will return to Marrakech in the afternoon.

Beautiful day with a very friendly guide, nice explanations, many discoveries, such as the very welcoming Berber house, the riverside very authentic. But a concern for access for people with reduced mobility.

A very varied trip. Great driver who provided us with a lot of extra information in Dutch along the way. Made a few stops along the way. At a pottery, where the tagines are baked. Seen how argan oil is pressed by the locals. While enjoying a cup of tea I got the necessary explanation. And of course there is the possibility to buy the eea. Visited a Berber house. Lunch use on the very fast flowing river, sitting on cushions. Then there is the possibility to take a walk to the falls. Absolutely recommend this trip. Unfortunately it was cloudy this day and rain fell occasionally. Well the weather is unfortunately out of your control.

It was a beautiful village with lovely people. Rachid was an amazing tour guide and made us feel comfortable and relaxed. He showed us additional places on the way to the village and stopped to take as many photos as we wanted. Amazing experience and highly recommend!
