The peaceful atmosphere of Essaouira provides the perfect outing for shoppers and beach bums alike. Seaside activities (kitesurfing, quad bikes, camel- and horseback rides, etc) can also be found on the beach for those who are interested. A delicious, freshly prepared lunch is included in the price of the trip as well. The guide is on call all day for any special needs or requests. The organizer can be contacted prior to the trip for any special needs or requests. Total driving time: 6 hours.

We will pick you up from your hotel or meet you at the meeting point outside Café Argana at 8:00 am.
It is a 3-hour drive to Essaouir, and we will make three stops on the way: the first stop at a cafe at the halfway point,
The second stop to take pictures of goats in the Argan trees and the third stop to visit a women's Argan cooperative.
Once we get to Essaouira, you will have time to explore the beautiful beaches and medina at your own pace. Take pictures of its ocher-colored walls, the beautiful and vibrant Moulay El Hassan square, the souks (open air markets) as well as the charming little streets of the city's old medina. There you can enjoy a lunch of fresh fish in a local restaurant by the port or in the main square where there is often live music. At 4:30 pm we will pick you up and drive back to Marrakech. You will get back at your hotel at 8:00 pm. note: air-conditioned transportation and water are incuded in this trip. when you get to essaouira, you are free.

I booked this tour specifically because it was supposed to be guided it was not and I was notified and given the option to cancel or continue with money back. Since it was my last day I chose to continue. I got lost in the shops literally so I am disappointed as a solo traveler it wasnt guided so I probably didnt even see 1/2 of what was there in fear of getting lost again If you plan on shopping in Morocco wait and do it here! No haggling and prices are cheaper I would advise to stay overnight that way there is also time to enjoy the beautiful beach and try to find a guide
Everything was perfect. The previous stops before Essauoira: take pictures to thw mountains, the visit to a women argán cooperative (so tradicional), traditional tea, the visit in Essaouira to the Medina, the beach, the port was so increíble and Nice. All the explanations that the Guide give to us we're so profound and really interesting.
We could not have asked for a better experience and guide. Elhoussain’s brother Hamid and our driver, also Hamid, we’re most interesting and provided us a wonderful experience on our trip to Essaouira. We made several stops along the way and shared great conversation together. The stops were well timed and afforded us an opportunity to see life in the villages between Marrakech and Essaouira. Hamid provided great practical information for our time in Essaouira as well. You will be most pleased with this experience - highly recommend.
Hamid is a great guy. Throughout the day he told us many stories and taught us about Moroccan - and specifically berber - traditions. He is also a very honest guide and won't refrain from advising against tourist traps when there is one. We were lucky enough to have the whole van to ourselves, which meant we decided with Hamid what to do and what not to do. I would advise to also check out the other trips that he and his brother organize.
This was one of the best experiences I've ever had on a trip. The hosts were very warm, kind, informed, and accommodating. They gave us clear and direct communication on where to meet, what to expect on the trip, and on the history of Marrakech and Essaouira. They chatted with us freely and made us feel welcome and safe. I've already recommended this excursion to a couple of friends going to Marrakech later this year.
