Explore Africa’s majestic Atlas Mountains on this guided, full-day hiking and riding tour from Marrakesh. On this small-group tour, visit varied landscapes and valleys with spectacular views. Itinerary
First, on your way to Ourika valley, you will enjoy the stunning sceneries. Take a 90-minute hike to see waterfalls and some spectacular vistas. Along the way, you’ll see Berber women extracting the unique Argan oil.
When you arrive at Ait Fares, the third valley, you’ll be served a delicious full lunch. Enjoy a typical meal of soup, salad, Berber tajine, couscous, dessert, mint tea and mineral water in a local home surrounded by breathtaking scenery. After that, you’ll visit the fourth valley, Asni, best known for its fruit trees, where you can enjoy the views of the snowy summits of the High Atlas Mountains.
The tour concludes with a drive back to Marrakech via the fifth valley of Tahanaout, arriving back in Marrakech at approximately 5:00 PM, and a drop-off at your accommodation.

Beautiful day. Yassin and Hicham manage the whole escursion. They are very kind. This outing and privatized and you go to unusual places (dining at home) it was amazing.

We booked a day’s trip to the breath-taking Ourika Valley in the Atlas Mountains via our hotel (Dar Al-Famila, in Marrakech’s ancient medina) with Toubkal Adventure, who were excellent value - tailored service, insightful guides, informative activities, door to door service and the lovely walk itself up alongside the river - all with a delicious lunch in a beautiful riverside setting. Very nice day Hicham programmed us the day with stop in an authentic Berber house, we tasted mint tea and bread, honey, homemade butter... excellent Then a guide, Rachid, took us to the waterfall with explanations and breathtaking views. The private tour with our guide Yassine (friendly, polite, helpful...) was EXCELLENT. We took a day tour of the Five Valleys. We picked up the closest thing to the Riad in Marrakech (since there are such narrow areas that you do not enter a car). Speaks Spanish perfectly and continuous communication from the day of booking. During the trip, in a comfortable van with air conditioning, he was telling us many things about Morocco and the areas we were visiting: culture, gastronomy, history... In Ourika we did a wonderful walking route of almost 2 hours with another guide, Ohmar (great), in which we saw 4 waterfalls. We ate very well and very rich in a traditional house with unbeatable views, learning from their customs. Seeing amazing valleys and mountains. It is worth hiring this tour more than the typical excursions. I recommend it 100%.
