After a morning pick-up from Koh Samui, head straight to the pier to begin your maritime excursion among the 42 islands of Ang Thong. After being fitted for masks and snorkels, you’ll glide over to the island of Koh Wao to snorkel in the crystal-clear waters among magnificently diverse coral reefs. Explore the sheltered bay, keeping your eyes peeled for tropical fish. Continuing through the national park, you’ll arrive at Koh Mae Ko for kayaking and after that. Disembarking and heading for the panoramic view above the Emerald Lagoon, a gem of Ang Thong Park. Fed by the sea through a series of caves, the lagoon is completely untouched, as it is illegal to swim within it. Afterward, head to Koh Phaluai for a seaside Thai lunch, and for some time to unwind and relax on the beach before heading back to Koh Samui

This experience is not suitable for those who are not fit or pregnant. The sea was really rough, part of the activity was cancelled and we had to come back earlier than planned. The food at lunchtime was clearly the worse we had in our 2 weeks in Thailand. The boat is for 16 pax only, but then you meet all the other boats in the same spots.

Highly recommend this boat tour! The guides were excellent and being on a smaller boat with a smaller group makes a huge difference for the amount you get to experience and see and the ability to relax on the boat. It’s a gorgeous area and not to be missed experience in Koh Samui. This operator handled everything perfectly from pickup to itinerary communication to timing at each stop to the lunch. Thanks to the team for a great day!

On a speedboat with about 15 people. We were not helped by the weather conditions, but it was a choppy ride there and back. Skilfully navigate by our captain. The Marine park is beautiful: stunning tropical Islands and great views. Co-ordination and pickups worked well. Our guide was going through the motions, got most animated when the tip jar came out! You are not alone when you arrive at the islands: multiple other tour operators disembarking at the same time. You follow the same path and time-table as all the other tour operators: so don’t expect tranquility! As the storm rolled in, we were given the option of heading back to Samui or pressing on to the next beach. The guide said that we needed to decide as a passenger group what we wanted to do, whereas it should really be up to the captain….

I paid for the premium VIP tour to get a way from the crowd and to avoid the heavily scripted routine for these tours. Generally the tour is good. We paid for the admission fee at the gathering point fairly seamlessly. We started with some waiting for get everyone to the dock with some delays likely because of traffic. The boat had 14 people (2 young kids). Then the order of the day are completely changed: we started with Emerald lake hike, then Kayaking, Snorkeling, lunch, beach. I didn’t like that Kayaking was basically “get on, row over to this one spot in 5 minutes, and then done.” It might have been a good reason with wind or something but we would want to spend at least 30 minutes even if we just to go around in circle in the small area with the scenery. Instead we probably spent less than 10 minutes on water. The staff was nice but we didn’t get much direction on the landmarks and scenery. There was one Monkey island and one human head we took picture with. Overall, that is the feeling with this tour- everything was rushed at times where we spent more time in (kayaking, snorkeling) but not with other odd times (waiting after lunch, lots of time for Emerald lake, “relax” time at some odd beach had an hour). Aside from the small group side which was nice, it felt like going to the same places as at least 3 other boats (other private tour?) and there was no exclusivity. And while the tour guides are nice, I didn’t get the strong feeling of the premium I paid for this tour (it costed 2x)

Wow! What a day! Had the most amazing day on the Ang Thong small group tour. Yes you pay that little bit extra, but it was worth every penny! Lip and the crew were amazing. The boat was comfy and lots of space to spread out, they made sure we had snacks and drinks on board, got a great spot for snorkelling, took us kayaking, up to the view point (very steep, but worth it), lunch was delicious and then for a break at the beach before returning to Samui. Thank you for a great day, 1000% recommend!!!

It was a great experience. Neat and Comfortable boat. Courteous guide and staff. Timely pickup in comfortable van. However, on return, the van was changed which was not so comfortable. There were other guest as well who were dropped on way back. We were 5 pax ans staying in Sheraton. Driver dropped us at exit and refused to take the van to the porch where as all other guest were dropped at the Porch. This small incident created a dent in happy memories.
