We had an incredible evening with Morry! He knew the best yatai to eat at, was super friendly, and even showed us magic tricks while we were in line. We would definitely recommend, and would like to take the tour again on our next visit to Fukuoka!
We had a great time! The food we were introduced to was amazing. Our guide brought us into local places and ordered for us in Japanese, otherwise we would never have enjoyed such great places!
Second day in Fukuoka and this tour was great. Tour guide Maury was a great conversasionalist and magician. After taking us to one of his favorite Yatai (the food was amazing), he took us around town to walk off the meal. Great experience!
We thoroughly enjoyed this tour. It was very unique in that we visited not only Yatai stalls but local ones. Morry was very personable. On top of that he is a magician! He told us that in Yatai stalls, it is customary to talk to others dining in there. With his magic, and personality, we were talking to locals through him. The two Yatai stalls were good and offered some food Fukuoka region is known for. We were very full and entertained. Morry was also very knowledgeable about the local culture and history. We appreciated his offer to quickly show us a local shrine as well. This is a highly recommended tour. Thank you Morry!
