Tasting Pompeii Tour runs daily from 11:30 am to 4:00 pm and is a sensorial journey into the world of Bosco de’ Medici. It is more than a wine tasting: it is a path through history, discovering the estate, its unique production, and its deep connection with the land of Pompeii. This experience allows guests to explore the roots of ancient winemaking traditions, including our revival of Roman amphora wine production, just as it was done 2,000 years ago. The tour includes: Visit to the 18th century farmhouse Walk through the experimental vineyard Stop at the Necropolis of 79 AD Exploration of the winemaking room Visit to the refining room with wooden barrels and amphorae A guided wine tasting paired with a typical Neapolitan lunch.

The tour is a sensorial journey through the Bosco de’ Medici estate, where history, tradition, and wine meet. More than a simple tasting, it is a real immersion into the culture of Pompeii: guests will visit the 18th-century farmhouse, walk through the experimental vineyard, explore the Necropolis of 79 AD, and discover the winemaking and refining rooms with barrels and amphorae, where we still produce wines using ancient Roman techniques. The experience includes a typical Neapolitan lunch, a celebration of the region’s authentic flavors paired with our wines. Menu Starter: Neapolitan salami, local raw ham, buffalo mozzarella from Campania, provolone del monaco with jam, traditional aubergine parmigiana, fried pasta timbale, potato gateau First Course: Raviolo by Grandmother Emiddia Second Course: Entrecôte with seasonal side dishes Dessert Wines: 5 Wines + 1 Sparkling Wine

We took our two families with 4 teenage kids to the vineyard lunch with wine pairings. Alessandro the sommelier was incredibly friendly and knowledgeable, and the process to take wine and ship wine to the US was seamless. A beautiful courtyard covered in grape vines, the ambiance, wine, food and terrific service will be a core memory for many years for our families.

Recently spent a lovely afternoon at the vineyard. We didn’t have a reservation, but they still welcomed us with great hospitality and happily found us a place. We enjoyed a cozy tour through the vineyard led by the enthusiastic Giuseppe, followed by a wine tasting with excellent wines beautifully explained by Alessandro. The food was also fantastic. Truly a place we would highly recommend!

It way amazing! Anthony, Roberto, and Christian made the experience absolutely wonderful. This is our second time and each time we have left very happy and satisfied with our experience. Roberto made us laugh and gave us great history of the winery. Anthony was a brilliant sommelier with particular knowledge that brought so much joy to the wine. We stumbled upon this vineyard while driving from Sorrento to Rome and could not have found a better place. We were given a very thorough tour by Gianandrea. He was highly knowledgeable and passionate about the property and was exceptionally good with the kids. We stayed for a few hours but could have stayed longer if our schedule permitted. For the experience received, the price was negligible. It’s worth traveling to visit and if possible, staying at the resort. 10/10 would recommend
