Melk Abbey - A Baroque Jewel- is the symbol of the Wachau Valley. Enjoy the view of its steep, terraced vineyards overlooking the Danube.
Driving time through picturesque Alpine region of Salzkammergut, famous for its beautiful landscapes, culture and a love of tradition. Salt from the heart of its mountains has brought affluence to the region - but its most valuable assets are the lakes. Even before we all became travellers in search of beauty and inspiration, the banks of its picturesque lakes have attracted writers, poets and emperors. Driving time approx. 120 min.
You will visit a heart of Salzkammergut region – a fabulous town of Hallstatt, lost among the high mountains on the shore of the lake with blue azure coloured water. This place is considered to be the main view of the Alpine Austria, but no picture can show a splendid atmosphere of this town and its original character. During your free time you can walk through the narrow streets of the town and admire magnificent views of the lake and huge mountains.
On the way to Salzburg we will prepare for your meeting with the capital of classical music. Once you know the history of Austria and understand its culture and customs, you will look at the picturesque streets and squares of the old city in a completely different way. Driving time approx. 60 min.
Salzburg - a cozy beautiful town on the banks of the Salzach river, made in the baroque architectural style, the world capital of classical music, the birthplace of the great Mozart and Karajan. You will have free time to walk through the Mirabel Garden and see the house where Mozart was born, the Salzburg Cathedral and one of the oldest monasteries in Europe - the active monastery of St. Peter. You can also leave our group tour here and to Vienna at your own expenses by train.
After embracing the cultural side of Salzburg, you'll start you way back to Vienna. Driving time approx. 90 min.
We will make a short coffee break at a quality restaurant on a highway, where you can relax and enjoy a comfortable rustic atmosphere and stretch your legs during your break.

A Beautiful venue, Baroque church. An evening of varied classical music professionally presented to the approval of the audience.
This is a marathon tour. Hallstatt was very nice. Bring cash in Euro as very few shops accept cards. Salzburg was a different city than Hallstatt but very nice.
The trip to Halstat and Salzburgh was fantastic.I enjoyed and love it.The only thing I can say is I wish qe satyed a bit longer in Halstat as soon as we got to Salzburgh was all rush.A fellow solo travel and I almost missed our coach .We have to run with the weather of35°.I know its our choice to go to the tower to take the photos from top as we dint have time to roam around town.Apart that experience Im hapoy to be on that trip.
It was a magnificent and magical trip, with stunning cities and breathtaking scenery. I am truly delighted with this journey and deeply grateful to everyone who contributed to organizing it, from the driver to the director. Our tour guide, Olga, was wonderful. I was truly happy to be there.
It’s a 700kms round trip. The highlight was the scenery. More importantly our tour guide Sofia is one of the best tour guides my wife and I experienced. I say this because 1 Sofia’s excellent communication skills 2 Her knowledge of the areas visited 3 Sofia encouraged teamwork from everyone resulting in no extra waiting time In our opinion Sofia possesses the qualities to move forward in the travel industry
I am used to doing these types of excursions, but this one seemed like a very tough excursion to me; of the 13 hours it lasts, you are only 2 hours in Hallstatt and 2 hours in Salzburg, the rest of the time is spent sitting on the bus. As a suggestion for improvement, I recommend making the excursion longer, leaving Vienna earlier (around 7:00) and arriving later (around 22:00). On the other hand, neither my partner nor I have a very high level of English (a fair B1) and it was quite easy for us; it was something that scared us a little. Both Hallstatt and Salzburg are very pretty, but they are very touristy places, which makes them lose part of their magic and prices go up. If you have a spare day in Vienna, I recommend it, but if you have other plans, no.
Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. We are sorry to hear that the tour felt more demanding than you had expected. Our itinerary is designed to include both Hallstatt and Salzburg in one day. The schedule is also carefully planned in accordance with European Union regulations governing drivers' permitted driving and rest times. We are pleased to hear that you enjoyed both destinations and that the tour was easy to follow despite your initial concerns about the English language. Thank you as well for your suggestion regarding an earlier departure and later return. We appreciate your comments and will share your feedback with our team as we continue to review and improve our tours.
It’s engaging and an eye opener to the Austrian culture with regards to their classical music, historical heritage of landmarks such as the lakes and alps at Hallstatt. Would have loved to go on a boat trip and view the alps and church at close range.
Despite a long day it was a great way to see the iconic towns of Austria. Maybe confirm what the Salzburg tour includes to ensure you get to see what you had planned for.
Bring plenty of water if traveling the summer months! They could have at least offered the 1st bottle of water for free.
Thank you for your feedback. We are sorry to hear that the weather affected your experience during the tour. Unfortunately, weather conditions are beyond our control. As stated in the tour description, food and drinks are not included, and we recommend that guests bring water and snacks or purchase them during the scheduled stops. We appreciate your comments and will review them internally.
The experience was amazing. We managed to fit visiting Hallstatt and Salzburg in such a whole day. Sofia was an amazing tour guide and gave us all the recommendations even after the tour had ended such as the Summer Film Festival. I cannot express how much this trip was worth and the views that came along with it, even in the bus ride.
