Your tour guide will pick you up either from your accommodation or a nearby meeting point for an easy start to the day. Get comfortable on the bus while your guide shares fun facts and interesting information about Albania and its lifestyle, making sure everything runs smoothly.
The first stop is after about an hour of driving, in the small town of Belsh. Here you’ll have 30 minutes to stretch your legs, enjoy a coffee, and take in the charm of this non-touristic area with its peaceful small lake and quiet surroundings. It’s a much nicer break than stopping at a gas station!
The journey then continues for another hour towards Berat, with your guide providing insights about the areas you pass through. Upon arrival, your first stop will be Berat Castle – a large hilltop fortress where people still live inside the walls. The castle is full of history, dotted with old houses, churches, and mosques. You’ll enjoy a 2-hour guided walking tour, stopping at the most important landmarks while taking in panoramic views from the top of the hill. Don’t forget your camera!
From the castle, the bus will take you down to the Osum River Bridge, where you’ll have a closer view of the two historical neighborhoods, Gorica and Mangalem, as well as the iconic Gorica Bridge. After the sightseeing, your guide will give you free time to have lunch, enjoy a drink, and explore Berat at your own pace. IMPORTANT: During November - April some museums may be closed on Mondays. IMPORTANT: If you need anything during the tour, please speak to your guide – we want to make sure you have the best experience possible
After a wonderful day, you’ll drive back to Tirana. On the way, your tour guide will also share some recommendations on things to do and places to explore in Tirana to make the most of your stay.

NO ONE sent me an update on the pick up time. I was left sitting on the corner of a VERY busy street in central Tirana for more than an hour. Then the company tried to blame ME for not getting a message that was never received!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Unfortunately, we didn’t love this tour. Our guide, Paula, wasn’t very engaging. Sorry Paula! She provided very limited information about Albania in the bus and instead chose to use a WhatsApp group to provide information. The tour was in English yet several Italians requested she also speak Italian. While I appreciate Paula accommodating those few people, it extended the time explaining things in two languages. The tickets to get into the museum at Berat castle was pure chaos. It would’ve been better to discuss the option to go into the museum while on the bus and collect the money then. Berat was beautiful but not much to do. Spent way too much time there. Paula told us there was a bazar and just pointed across the river leaving everyone very confused on where to go. We never found this so-called bazar. Just disappointed after having a fantastic tour with the same company the day before.
The tour was very organised and time management was really well handled by our tour guide Denis. Worth it over all !!
I really enjoyed Kladji 's tour of Berat it was fantastic. He was very professional despite traffic and cycling event delaying the tour. He kept everyone calm and was super informative, funny and professional. Everyone was really I would highly recommend!
