Redwoods are breathtaking! Awesome tour. Great guide, James. He had so much knowledge of San Fran. Historical events, & famous people as well as movies filmed here. Highly recommend!
The tour was amazing—the Muir Woods were even more spectacular than I imagined, and I enjoyed every moment. Sausalito was a beautiful, scenic town, and I wish I had more time to explore it. Our guide was outstanding: personable, highly knowledgeable about the area, and full of interesting insights about local history and celebrities connected to San Francisco. I highly recommend this tour.
Our guide/driver gave us a very informative and humorous tour of San Francisco on our way to Muir Woods. Muir Woods was absolutely amazing to see and would recommend to anyone. Sausalito was a nice way to end the trip. We took ferry back to SF to get some extra time in Sausalito - also beautiful views of Golden Gate Bridge, Alcatraz, and San Francisco skyline from the ferry.
Very good tour! Patrick is so funny and a happy driver, and Lee was so helpful with our doubts! Five stars!
Thank you for the five-star review! Our team works hard to make sure our customers have a great experience. We're so glad you enjoyed Patrick's humor and Lee's helpfulness. Come back and see us again soon!
The Muir Wood experience was truely like going back in time in nature. The trees were magnificent to behold and I'm glad the land owners preserved this for generations to come.
It would be nice if they offered a better vehicle with large windows. You couldn't even see out the front windshield.
While the tour was timely, the driver/“tour guide” was just providing nonstop stream of consciousness commentary about his interests and also narrating the drive constantly, like “slow down”, “hold tight” etc. which just wasn’t very pleasant.
Great trip. The driver and guide Lester was witty and knowledgeable. The woods were beautiful and had time for a lovely stroll through. sausilito is really pretty and a nice change of pace from SF
Thank you for the kind words! We're thrilled to hear that you had a great trip with our driver and guide Lester. We pride ourselves on providing knowledgeable and entertaining tours, and we're happy to hear that you enjoyed the beautiful woods and picturesque Sausalito. Come back and explore with us again soon!
Booked the Muir Woods + Sausalito Ferry option, but the ferry wasn’t included despite the higher price. The tour felt rushed — barely enough time for Muir Woods or Sausalito. Staff and guide were nice, but I’d recommend renting a car or booking a longer tour.
Tour started late, shop seemed disorganized. The tour guide was borderline obnoxious. We felt he wasted time. His commentary about turkeys was bizarre and annoying to us and I'm sure most everyone else. Overall, over priced tour for what you get. Didn't even stop at the golden gate bride, just drove over it and told to take photos. We should have just bought a ferry pass and taken an uber to the woods. Would have been a lot cheaper and more enjoyable.
We are very sorry to hear that you did not enjoy the tour, and we do appreciate all feedback, as it helps us improve our service. Thank you for giving us the opportunity to serve you. Sincerely, Big Bus Tours SF
