Beautiful places to know both Lucca (historic center streets museum of Puccini etc.) and pisa torre.batisterio de saint giovani ) to return
We went on a wonderful trip to the two walled cities. We actually did Volterra and San Gimignano with a stop at the winery. The scenery and towns were amazing. Massimo was a wonderful guide who provided just the right amount of information about the region. I'm looking forward to another trip to Tuscany. Massimo also took us by "The Theater of Silence" once he learned that we were fans of Andrea Bocelli. He also tailored our day to fit a quick stop in Pisa before returning to the ship.
Thank you Tanya for a great day . Exceeded our expectations! Loved St Gimignano especially and thanks for the safe driving and your friendly attitude. Keep up the good work Ann and Philip
The whole trip was unbelievable Mr. Stefano was incredible with all the history knowledge and the professionalism that he showed towards our group will do it again hands-down
Enjoyed the company of the others in the group. Emilia our driver and guide was a very happy and enthusiastic person. She was very informative and helpful. Comfortable minibus and much preferred a small group trip.
Our guide was wonderful, and both cities were beautiful. I love this company- they are very professional, timely, great drivers, polite, knowledgeable. The wine tasting was very nice and the vineyard was stunning. Super small group made it very fun. My only suggestion and concern is that it really is a but too much for 1 day. It would have been better to just do San Gimignano and Sienna and spend more time in each place. There was not enough time to go into the lovely places in either city- it is really just to get a taste of what each looks like. I know other reviewers have made the same comments and I hope the company considers adding a longer day with eg Duomo entry in Sienna and entry to the lovely church in SG with unique frescoes that we were unable to see.
The knowledge of the guides about Tuscany and the places we visited was great! A very pleasant tour overall and we loved the enthousiasm of our guide!
We had an amazing day with more than we expected. Roman our driver and guide was amazing and went above and beyond our expectations. Would recommend this tour the views and villages in Tuscany are stunning. The wine tour was very interesting and the food was great. Having visited Seina before we opted out of the city tour and decided to sit in a cafe/bar and watch the world go by. Would definitely recommend this day trip in my opinion it was worth every penny
This trip is for individuals who do not have a car as the driver offer little if any useful or interesting info on the two cities we visited. Time was also limited at both cities so we couldn't purchase tickets and see the historical site. I recommend you visit both cities on your own with a map you can get at the city info center. Then sign up for a wine tasting event; You will get a lot more out of it and a fraction of the cost. Viator packed the van so the driving experience was not pleasant. One of the passenger got car sick.
Stay at each city was too short and no guidance other than getting dropped off with a map. The drive was non eventful and too many people in the van. Wine tasting was the best part.
