Once we arrive in Essaouira, you have the full day to explore medina which is surrounded by medieval walls, with a castle standing at their Southern edge. Its white-washed and blue-shuttered houses give it a gorgeous look. Take a stroll in its amusing narrow streets exploring the ancient French and Portuguese architecture enjoy the beach, visit the harbour and enjoy a delcious lunch in one of the restaurants of the fishing port .if you wish you can take a local guide for a city tour,but we recommend to go all over on your own because it is the best way to visit this small and quiet town you can also surfing or swimming if you are intersting . Return to marrakech in the evening at around 19h30 .

For starters, the bus arrived 20 minutes late... Then we took only the small roads which made the journey last 4h driveway 4h return... We expected to spend 6h on site as indicated but the driver gave us an appointment less than 4h before the return... And finally, the “argan oil cooperative” which turned out to be staged women and exorbitant prices (250DAM the small vial of 50ml) We have to spend more time in transport than on site, which is more unacceptable

Concernant le « retard » du bus, il ne s’agit pas réellement d’un retard. Un horaire approximatif vous a été communiqué pour le pick-up, mais comme il s’agit d’une excursion partagée, nous récupérons les clients depuis différents points de rendez-vous, ce qui peut expliquer un léger décalage dans l’heure d’arrivée. En ce qui concerne la route empruntée vers Essaouira, il est important de préciser qu’il n’existe pas d’autre itinéraire. La route utilisée est la seule reliant Marrakech à Essaouira, et elle est connue pour être une route nationale à une seule voie. Pour les coopératives d’huile d’argan, comme clairement indiqué dans la description de l’excursion, la visite fait partie intégrante du programme. Nous comprenons que cette expérience n’ait pas été à votre goût, toutefois beaucoup d’autres voyageurs l’apprécient. Had an amazing day at the beach. The trip was great, even included a free stop at an argan factory tgat we wasnt expecting. Highly recommended for a great day out
The trip was very easy to organize, we did it from one day to the other and no problems arose from it. Essaouira is a charming city with a very nice sea culture.
We had amazing trip me and my girlfriend with moroccondailytrip . Essaouira is the best deatination to viait if you have a day free in Marrakech . The driver was very kind .
We really enjoyed the flight to Essaouira. We were assigned to a larger coach at Jemal al Fnaa square at 8 a.m. and the driver explained the day's program. After about 2 hours of driving there was a 15 minute coffee stop at a "rest stop" and another stop at an argan oil women's cooperative. The women there were very nice and showed how argan oil is made. You could buy various products there afterwards, but you weren't pressured to do so. The stop lasted about 30 minutes, which was too long for us personally. We would have preferred to arrive in Essaouira a little earlier. Due to the stops, we weren't there until around 12 p.m. and then got a 1.5 hour city tour that was very informative. At the end you were taken to a restaurant where you could eat, but you didn't have to. You had free time from 1:30 p.m. until the bus left at 4 p.m., which went by far too quickly with time to eat. A great day with ocean view :)
Pretty, warm, typical port with a small pedestrian town center with narrow, old streets and a beautiful beach. Eating poisoning by the sea Au Chalet is extraordinarily good and inexpensive with a wonderful view. I really recommend it, I will go back. A super nice guide named Aziz showed us around, it is located in front of the entrance to the city gates.
Really good tour, Essaouira is beautiful and I would highly recommend if you want a change of scenery from Marrakesh. It’s quieter with places to eat and an equally good market to explore. Extra time to explore the market would have been great but overall a really good tour.
Nice day trip to get some fresh air out of Marrakesh. The guide spoke 4 languages and explained everything clearly. He had also a good sense of humor! He gave us great advice on where to eat fresh fish!
Our guide was amazing, he did the tour in three languages! Overall, I would recommend to family and friends and can't wait to return.
Excellent day in Essaouira. Our driver was in a very good mood, accommodating, attentive and with very careful driving, the experience at the Argan laboratory is beautiful!
