Basic tour

Logistics good, covered all the aspects of the town/residences and site. Little explanation from guide, basically dropped us off at locations for self guided transit through sites.

Operator response

Thank you for your feedback and for taking the time to share your experience. We're pleased to hear that the logistics and overall organization of the day met your expectations. Regarding the guiding aspect, we would like to clarify that, due to current regulations at Pena Palace, historical explanations and guided commentary are no longer permitted inside the palace interiors by external guides. All guided visits inside the palace are now conducted exclusively by the official palace staff. As a result, guests visit the interior areas independently while our guides remain available to assist and accompany the group. Throughout the rest of the experience, our local guides provide historical context, cultural insights, local recommendations, practical tips, curiosities, and personal stories about the region, helping guests gain a deeper understanding of the places visited while maintaining the flexibility to explore at their own pace. We appreciate your comments and will continue working to ensure that expectations regarding the tour format are communicated as clearly as possible. Thank you once again for choosing Ó Turista! Tours & Trips, and we hope to welcome you back to Portugal in the future. Kind regards, Ó Turista! Tours & Trips

Fatima is inspiring

The Fatima tour was inspiring. In addition to the sites typically included on the tour, we wanted to see Ingreja Matriz de Fatima, which was the old parish church in Fatima. Our tour guide, Giovanni, was very accommodating and added the stop. The old church had a small souvenir shop which was reasonably priced. Our guide had an excellent recommendation for lunch. I would recommend the Fatima tour and highly recommend our tour guide, Giovana.

Personalized Fatima Tour

Leo is a wonderful tour guide. He personalized the tour to what we wanted. Started with Adjustrel and then came to the Basilica. We were happy to attend mass at the Basilica and then light candles near the Capella of Apparitions. Leo managed the sequence very well so we didn't face any crowding issues. Started with the gift shop, then Adjustrel, and then the Basilica. We are grateful for the pilgrimage that covered everything we wanted.

Best Tour Guide in All of Portugal

I rate this experience as a 5 because our tour guide was extremely knowledgeable and very kind. The only exception was the company provided a van that was too small for 8 adults. My sister who is 4ft11in had to sit up front in the middle with no leg room. Our tour guide Diogo was absolutely the best.

Tight squeeze

Vehicle was too small for 9 passengers. Trip seemed unorganized for stopping for lunch. We drove around to 4 places before we found a place that was open and could serve us.
